Are the guests really allowed to buy anything? I always use my card and they pay cash. I don't know strictly whether that's allowed or whether they just accept it

Yes! In the last few weeks I have joined. But prior to this I went with the MIL and when paying her Costco card was swiped and I then paid with my switch card.

Remember this weeks toilet roll offer well worth the trip. There is also £1 off there tray Pizzas.

I recommend the barrels of washing powder. They are about 10quid and it works out cheaper than any other brand per kilo.

Is that the 'own brand' giant tub err 'Kirkland?' I did see it but I'm always wary about things that seem a bit too cheap!.

I've just rejoined Costco after a few years, and had a quick rush round and bought £15 of chicken filets at slightly less than the very cheap Asda smartprice ones that I've stopped buying as some have been a bit smelly when still within the useby date. :/ Also bought some very good sliced turkey for the spoilt cat. I've noticed they do discount postage stamps (30p instead of 32p).

if anyone else spots some good bargains I'd like to know :)

Could I make a plea please, that someone post up the passport offers and dates.

Apparently they only send out passports to primary card holders but you don't actually have to have the passports to have the discount - the cashiers will ring them up anyway. Unfortunately they can't tell you what they are unless it's the actual week they're on.

    Thanks folks!!!

If anybody goes to Costco, can you let me know what they have in terms of tumble dryers?

  • My boss at work refused to sign us up for Costco cards even though we were willing to pay for them!! I don't see why, it's not like we can damage the company's reputation with a Costo card :( And he gives the area managers cards for free to buy us stock like loo rolls but they get to use it for personal shopping!! It's not fair!
