99p Doodles, bargain price! My OH went off shoe shopping the other day but luckily forgot her purse
Might have to send her to ebay more often.

A great bargain, postage was £3.50 but still a great saving made! I first looked on ebay for Clarkes shoes when I realise new trainers for DD were going to cost me £28! We take her to Clarkes to get measured then see what ebay has to offer!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

I've had some great Clark's shoe bargains from ebay shops too. The shoes are brand new but end of line etc. My DS1 has very narrow feet and these fittings seem to be available quite often (as do very wide fittings). I've paid around the £20 mark for £40+ shoes0

DD has wide feet (in a g now) but her first shoes aged 13 months were a 5.5H. At least this means her feet grow slowly though.
I now have 16 days off work! :jThe timing is brilliant as work is busy and stressful at the moment and I think it will just get worse there. I do wonder if there is a job to return to though as the closure could happen anytime. Please redeploy me somewhere nice!
Not a great deal planned for today, am posting some more clothes, this time to my 'bump buddy' on my Bounty board. She is just covering the postage as I didn't want to charge her.
Still waiting for someone else to pay me the £32 they owe me, hurry up and do it!!!
Need to exchange the curtain pole we bought for the nursery as it's too small. Why can I never remember how big my windows look when I am out of the house????
DD lasted from 7-4 in her own bed but woke up wet, not sure why as she is having a wee before bed and I know she can stay dry overnight, that's the last 2 nights nowJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Enjoy your time off, I have to work all over the weekend
Hope you don't get back to no job / department though, that wont be nice.0 -
Hope the weekend goes quick for you in work. TBH, i'd like the changes sorted before I go off on maternity leave as it's been dragging on since before Christmas! I'm looking forward to new challenges but would just like an idea of where I could be.
Popped to Homebase to exchange curtain pole and noticed it was a 15% day so bought new pole, more paint and treated myself to a scented candle (after all, the nights are drawing in now!) and the discount hasn't been applied. I'll have to check online if there was a minimum spend?
Not much else going on here, I'm exhausted!
Money is in paypal account that was owed so I have over £40 in there now.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

It did seem especially dark last evening Grateful! Candle looked and smelled very nice!
Today began with a nosebleed, had literally just come downstairs when I noticed the first drip! Only get them when pregnant
Wedding to go to later but as the weather has been awful I think it will all be taking place inside which makes outfit choice a little easier. That's if I can get into it!
DH has just taken DD for her haircut, I think little ones look so cute with newly cut hair!
Did a top up shop yesterday and made a curry which should feed us this evening (not staying for night do' due to my pregnancy tiredness and DD) and also stuff for stirfry which lasts us ages and is delicious! Also a lot cheaper to make this time as I already had the spices etc.
Did an incredibly long survey for 100 points on Mysurvey yesterday, it all adds up though!
Onepoll stuck at £36.30 - I will never achieve payout!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Had a good afternoon at the wedding and DD stole the show! I think there will be lots of photos of her coming our way as she was quite the entertainer. I am shattered and ready for a relaxing evening.
Hope everyone else has had a good start to the weekend.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I have a kitchen design company coming round tomorrow as I was lucky enough to be selected (no surprises there!) for a free design and a £50 M&S voucher. Ordinarily I'd have said no but I was assured there was no obligation so the free voucher sounds worth an hour of my time.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
