My bump simply cannot be hidden. It really is stressing me out - I almost wish I hadn't applied now!
Don't get stressed about it, what will be...
It shouldn't make a difference you being pregnant and if it does then its not the job for you.
Now breathe and let it go over your head mrs...stress itsn't good for you or the baby:)I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I had a couple of job interviews when pregnant with DD2, didn't get any - I went with the hiding bump (I didn't show particularly)
My friend has just had an interview at 4 months pregnant and they went with someone with more experience she's a physio. I do know of people who have been successful when pregnant.
At the end of the day if they go with someone not pregnant they could be pregnant within a few months of starting anyway.
Good luck with the house - I still want to move but our house will do for nowOPs so far £42,139

Hi all, thanks for the advice and birthday wishes.
I am going to look around the ward today - the Sister is going to show me round so i will reveal/mention pregnancy as I think in my line of work honesty is the best policy and will show professionalism etc. I figure if i was successful and got a start date in June I would be working there for 8-12 weeks before starting maternity leave - could probably work later as it won't be as heavy/physically demanding.
Went to view the house yesterday and although the bedrooms and bathrooms were fab the downstairs was just too small and we would be falling over each other. I was disappointed that it didn't meet all our needs but am happy to stay here. I think we should extend downstairs when i return from maternity leave (funds permitting) and the upstairs when the space is needed (when this baby is about 5).
Had a nice surprise yesterday, my step dad is unable to go with my mum on holiday next week so guess who she is taking along free of charge??? Moi of course! I had the week off work anyway and DH had a stag weekend but he was looking for an excuse to get out of it i think. I just needed to get an extra day off work and arrange nursery days and it was all sorted within the hour! 4 days in Spain All Inclusive just me and my mum - how lovely.
Off out this morning, car due MOT (please pass!!!) and off to spend my birthday money.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
