Went for a look around the department, it is so different to what I am used to but a different kind of busy i think - there's nothing quite like busy ward work! I was given some tips of what to prepare for interview and warned that there is a lot of competition. They are doing 2 full days of interviews each lasting 30 mins so i think they must be interviewing around 20-25 - who knows though? Sister did mention that as I am one of the last to be interviewed that could be a good thing! She seemed fine about my pregnancy and mentionned that someone they employed went on maternity and several others attending for interview are also pregnant and it won't/can't go against us.

Bought a few bits and pieces for holiday and just done a bit of interview prep - still a lot to do though and I'm shattered now!

Have had a nap! I must have been tired - does help that DH is home today though. Car has passed the MOT :j
Checked online banking and Amazon have credited my account with £7.48 from a DVD sale so i rounded it up to £10 and paid it straight off the mortgage.

Not sure what we are doing this evening, DH has arranged a babysitter and woke me from my nap to see what film i wanted to see at cinema but feel too tired to go there. Maybe an early meal and a film at home would be more my thing? I am too tired to decide and I think he really wants to go to the cinema!

Right we've decided! Meal out followed by a film at home. We should go wild seeing as we have the evening free but i'm quite happy with simple pleasures.

    MOT was £50!! I'm sure that's expensive!

Sorry to ask if this is a daft question - but can you access your mortgage online so you can make instant payments just like that?? If you can, I wish I could. I have to phone a call centre and use my debit card - good that I can OP but slightly more of a faff.

Good news re. the MOT - could have been much worse.

I am with Halifax so it was awkward initially in that they won't accept OP's from a Halifax account. I just transfer money to a different bank and then I have a standing order set up using mortgage sort code and account number and just alter the date and amount as I need to. It all depends who you bank with I think, some make it easier than others.
It is handy OP small amounts though as I literally had this one sent within 10 minutes of noticing there was extra money in my current account.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I can't believe I go away this Friday. I think I will deserve it after my tough (possibly waste of time) interview on Tuesday. :)

Did I mention I have a Spa day planned for Wednesday aswell? I am not normally this spoiled!

I think the current account is taking a battering this week so that needs to be rectified at some point! Payday is still 2 weeks away

My calendar says 3 weeks for mine but my bank balance thinks it's due now :o
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Spa day not going ahead now, DH's boss won't honour his day off although he had booked it, have no alternative childcare arrangements so i won't be going! Ah well, at least I have Spain to look forward to :)

Ryanair have charged £100 to change the name online on the booking - how scandalous! I thought it would be around £25. It's not as if the tickets are printed as you just print them yourself nearer the time.

Still got lots of interview prep to do but can't be bothered after work this evening so that is a job for tomorrow. I'm not stressing too much about it tho.

A few surveys completed earlier so hopefully get some payouts soon!

It's all add ons with the budget flights - I agree scandalous about the 100 to change:mad:

Your extension plans sound very much like my own, would like it completely sorted by the time DD2 is 5 ideally. Her room is 7x6 so will not comfortably fit a proper bed and furniture in
    OPs so far £42,139
