Now you see I would LOVE an ensuite!

My main bedroom is 11x12 and the second bedroom is 11 x 11

I think i just need to view this house and see if it ticks all the boxes - if not get the extension plans out again we have for this place.

I just want a beautiful house with no mortgage - not too much to ask is it????

Our 3rd bedroom is 6'1x6'6 and it was not a cheap house! When we bought it we just thought that by the time we needed the room we would have the money to extend which is probably half true.
We literally have the cot in there and a chest of drawers on top of the box and there's a bit of standing space left! It would be majorly off putting for prospective buyers. In the house I like bedrooom 3 is 9x7'6 which to me seems a decent size. Problem with extending ours is that it would still be a narrow room iykwim.

I have just measured the width of our downstairs cloaks/utility and it's on;y 6'3 so even extending upstairs above that (a house round the corner did something similar) still wouldn't give us a decent size 3rd bedroom although we would have 4 beds.

You do have a lovely size room Pammy, I think ours is probably about 11x12. In the new house it's 14'8x12'4 with an 8x6 ensuite. I am swaying towards the new house again now after writing that down!

I think your savings would cover immediate costs such as survey and searches. Are you really considering moving again?

We are all terrible - it's a shame we don't live closer as we could sit around drinking coffee and giving advice over extensions/house moves etc :)

I could deal with a smaller bedroom if I had an ensuite lol, but doubt I am at that level just yet.

I keep looking on Zoopla and Rightmove mostly after I have visited and played with my nephew lol. Then after common sense comes back in. Like today we just went to the park which is just over the road, the swimming pool is 5 mins walk and town is 10 mins walk. There are so many cons and hardlty any pros but my heart is ruling at the moment.

I am spoilt with the size of my room, its the whole width of my house. My sons room is 12 x 10 which again is a great size too but the 3rd is 8 x 6 and has the boiler cupboard in it!

Like I say we are spoiled with having everything so close by (and would be perfect if I worked nearby too)

Oh well cant have it all I suppose :(

Hard decision to make isn't it. I guess if you keep coming back to the question 'should I move?' then maybe it is the right thing to do. I have been like this for over a year, my dream house is still on the market but is right at the top of our budget and we would probably overstretch ourselves but this latest one would just be so easy (as long as we got a sale!) I just worry about school catchment areas but apparantly it's not so much of an advantage to getting school places as it used to be.

Well, I have plodded on with the cleaning, just got the windows outside at the front of the house to do and inside upstairs and they're all done. I doubt EA will be open tomoro as they weren't on friday and close every sunday for me to chase this viewing. Just trying to get house ready so that it just needs a polish, hoover and tidy up (throw things in cupboards) if valuer or viewers were to visit. I'm just hoping our playroom would appeal as a 4th bedroom to some families as it's suitable for a teen onwards really and it's huge 21x12 so hopefully that would sway a potential decision.

You can tell i'm feeling better morning sickness and exhaustion wise - couldn't have contemplated this a few weeks ago!

Right - i'm off to clean windows at front of house while DD still asleep. I daren't wake her and feel her wrath, she was terrible when I did that yesterday, never known such a naggy 2 year old!

It's weird how much energy you can find when it's something you really want.

DD went through a really grumpy stage when she woke when she was around 2 years old. It was awful and took about half an hour to console her upon waking, whether she woke herself or I woke her. Only if she went to sleep in the day though, she was never like it when she woke in the morning.

In an ideal world I would stop her naps as she doesn't settle till late evening and still doesn't sleep through but I just can't keep her awake. I really hope she improves before baby arrives.

Mortgage balance not cleared on online banking but have amended it according to my calculations. I was going to go out last night but didn't in the end so transferred what I thought I would have spent to my maternity/mortgage savings.

Have sold another DVD boxset on Amazon so that's another £10 coming our way and another item decluttered!

Just tried ringing EA, no news on viewing. How frustrating will it be when it is time to make an offer and they don't communicate very well!

Not much else happening today as I am working this afternoon - it is bank holiday pay tho which is very nice!

I love having bh off but fo miss bh triple pay :( I would suffer if i had to work bh as there is no childcare available.

    Well done on amazon sale.
It annoys me when the online account doesnt update over the weekend, not that I'm impatient
I can see that moving house is going to be stressful!

My mortgage balance doesn't update online until the 5th of every month for some reason. It's so frustrating waiting between the 1st-5th to see where I am.
