It's all add ons with the budget flights - I agree scandalous about the 100 to change:mad:

Your extension plans sound very much like my own, would like it completely sorted by the time DD2 is 5 ideally. Her room is 7x6 so will not comfortably fit a proper bed and furniture in

Our 3rd bedroom is smaller than that!

We are still trying to decide whether to extend out the back or above the garage, it's hard to visualise how things will work.

Home from work and done a top up shop - mainly wanted fruit and forgot to buy any! DD had her own toy trolley and filled it with 2 easter eggs, one for her and one for daddy. She made a big point of leaving me out!!

Still got reading to do for interview which i will tackle this evening as there are too many distractions in the day. I also have a few hours after finishing work on tues before i need to be there which will be valuable time esp as DD will still be in nursery. Spoke to Sister about my interview and i explained if they were flexible with my hours i could take less than 12 months maternity which she seemed keen on and said i could have weekends off if i needed them. I took this as a compliment that she may not want to lose me? Interview will be good experience but I am not pinning my hopes on it.

Not much money making going on at the moment but I do have a few invites from GTM so might give them a go.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.

Phew....interview is over and it wasn't too bad. Am keeping my fingers crossed but certainly don't think it's mine. Anyway, if successful I will know by the end of the week.

Unfortunately no money making has taken place the last few days as I have been busy preparing and been distracted by interview - back on track now though so a catch up is needed.

Thank you, now that I have been for the interview I would really like to be offered the post as they discussed preceptorship etc. I was worried about being 'on-call' but that wouldn't be the case for about 18 months. There is another post too but less hours (which may suit a working mummy of 2) and that postition is coming up in about 4 weeks so if unsuccessful this time there is a chance of being offered the second post.

Have just purchased my travel insurance from Virgin money (thanks for the Froggy. Cost £5.70 for a single trip which is all i needed - holidays don't happen often in this house (unless my mum is whisking me away :rotfl:)

Payday next week and wages are spent - whoops! Am sure we will survive the next 9 days - DH will have to use his personal spends while I am away (he will be fine after my generosity last month and he is no longer going on the stag weekend so that I can go away).

No other MSE activity happening at the moment. Hope you are all doing better than me!

Is anyone else with British Gas, noticed the headline about them increasing their prices. I am on the market monitor tariff so am hoping this won't apply to me as they are meant to keep in line with the competitors.

Have so much to do here today. Does anyone else's house get messier the less you are there? I know that makes no sense but I have soooo much to do! Also need to iron and pack for holiday and am just hoping my clothes will fit my bump!

I'm not with British gas, but what normally happens when one of the 'big six' change their prices is that everyone else follows suit, so within a couple of months the 'market' prices would have gone up anyway!

Thanks Phil, thanks for posting. Good luck on your MF journey too.

That's a good price Michelle, we are paying £75 but not sure how accurate it is as not had a bill for ages!

Does your DS tidy up? DD is not very good at it but apart from emptying my purse this morning and asking for money (she is 2 and a half!!) she has been really well behaved. Think i deserve her too after our bedtime fiasco tho, doesn't matter what we do she won't go to sleep till 9pm! Have ordered some blackout blinds and i missed the delivery yesterday morning but royal mail slip says to wait 48 hours which seems a little long. Am wondering if it worth popping to the sorting office this afternoon to see if it is there.

DD has to really be in the mood to tidy up. At the rate I am confiscating toys due to her behaviour at the moment tidying up will be easier in the future!

Right....purchased my travel insurance earlier and only have a confirmation text with policy number and phone number if i need medical assistance. I can't log back in to download documents (which it offered me when I purchased) so am hoping I can just use policy number if i need to make a claim???

Oh i wish my kids would put things away when finished with. They dont even know how to put their plates in the kitchen or their coats and shoes away, it drives me potty!! I am thinking if my house goes on the market for a few months then they might get into the habit for the new house lol (I can dream cant I??)

We arent going abroad this year but I am actually relieved and am looking forward to our pontins break. I think I will be more relaxed staying in the country.

    Fingers crossed for the job.

Our EON dual fuel fix ends in July this year and all the prices on the comparison sites are significantly more than we're paying now :(. Didn't realise quite what a good deal we were on.

British Gas comes out as best of the bunch though but I also was slightly put off by them basically stating that their prices are going to rocket. But it's true that where one leads the others will surely follow :(

We currently pay £107 per month dual fuel  . It's a big 4 bed 1900's end terrace right on the north east coast, we are extremely frugal with gas and electricity, EON reduced our direct debit payments last year by £15 per month as our usage decreased but I can't seem to get it down anymore. Even in the winter the central heating's not on much as we have a wood burning stove with lots of free wood off the beach :D. The new prices will all be at least £120 more annually :(:(

EON have offered us a new fixed tariff but it doesn't feature on the price comparison sites so it's v difficult to work out what the payments will be (state pence per kwh only).

    Hmmm

Need to get my calculator out.
