The app is handy, just hoping it will reveal a win!
small steps this week. Still exhausted but I know I need to eat better and drink more water. Managing a litre a day but feel better when I drink more. This is the last weekend of neglecting my nutrition! Out for a meal on Sunday which will involve birthday cake so will hold off until Monday.
25p survey done, food spends under control and ignored Dh text he sent wishing he had bought wine! This weekend will be expensive £45 on birthday cake, roughly the same on a meal and I am hoping to get a new floor lamp tomorrow from HB so no doubt will buy various things we don't really need!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!4 -

Thanks debtfree, I think an energy boost is just around the corner with Spring sunshine.
£29.40 on supermarket top up shops. No toilet roll in HB and couldn't get my usual
handwash. Refused to buy any
of the others as don't match my bathroom colour schemes!25p survey on y0ugov and should have pet insurance payable on tcb soon. 2 lots of new bedding washed but it's a bit risky weather wise to hang them out so they're on the airers upstairs. I'm hopeful that Winter boots/coats/gloves and scarfs can be packed away now - surely we have had all the awful weather now???June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!5 -
Another weekend has flown by but I've got a couple of 4 day working weeks to look forward to now.Am hoping the last of our major spends are over. Paid for and collected birthday cake and went for our meal yesterday. It's a local restaurant everyone highly recommends but whilst it was okay I wouldn't go back. Main thing is the birthday girl enjoyed it.
Pet insurance has left the account this morning so I've made a 55p Tilly tidy as
there really isn't a lot happening. Once the holiday is completely paid for this payday we can get back on track with this. My goal is to knock 2 months off each month so we're falling behind! Not much else to report really but healthier eating is starting again today. There's only so long I can run effectively on sugar and caffeine.Food top up shop later and hoping we can pick up toilet roll and hand wash we genuinely need!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!5 -
It's very quiet on the financial front but we are only really spending on food. Another small top up shop today and hopefully can have a couple of NSD's now.Should have some pennies to overpay tomorrow as car payments will have gone out. Other than that our MF journey is pretty dull at the moment!

Well what a time of uncertainty it is?Dh and I have been wondering whether our holiday is going ahead so awaiting updates. We have decided if offered a refund we will go for it. I don't deal well with unknowns!
dh bravely did a top up shop
yesterday and the supermarket was chaos. He's popped to
HB this morning for vitamins and painkillers (we genuinely need) which is a lot cheaper than me going as he won't be tempted by things to make the house look pretty!
I sorted two big bags for the charity shop yesterday so Dh dropping them off this morning as it's on the same shopping parade.Plans for today are to rearrange Ds bedroom to make better use of the space. I know what I want to do but need Dh to do the lifting and moving - he doesn't know yet!March spends
