Morning Cath, sounds very festive at your house already :xmastree: I like to get the decorating done the first weekend of December too, it’s a big job and good to get ticked off early so other xmassy things can be fitted in too :)

The Christmas build up is lots of fun. We had a lovely day yesterday at a NT property, it was beautifully decorated and in a way that also appealed to the children so we were all able to enjoy it. Ds also spent some of his birthday money so he particularly enjoyed it.

91p Tilly tidy this morning and a Christmas present purchased online all before leaving the house! Also bought the children new stockings and Christmas bedding today (as requested) so have transferred the spends from the Christmas budget.

Shattered tonight, Mondays have a way of doing that to me. Am midway through a cheesy Christmas film and still have an elf antic to go!

Currently feeling like there are definitely not enough hours in the day. However, am just about keeping on top of things - just!

Another Christmas present ordered off groupon and as I had some credit it only cost about £3.

40p Tilly tidy and accounts looking fairly healthy. That's about the most I am doing on the mortgage free journey at the moment but it's all going in the right direction.

    December spends

    Supermarket £50.18
    Fuel £63.76

Well I've braved the supermarket on a Saturday and it wasn't too bad. Maybe most people have finished their shopping now. Just got selection boxes and chocolates to wrap up to boost the present pile. Also managed to buy a pay as you go phone for 99p! Quite a good haul for minimal spends. Small food shop and both cars filled with fuel.

Off to check the accounts to look for a tilly tidy......

We've had a lovely relaxing weekend mostly made up of Christmas films and dog walks. We have a busy week ahead though as although extra curricular clubs have stopped it's Christmas play week with two evening performances.

I've now got 4 weeks of not working full time due to odd days of annual leave and have a 6 day break in the middle of that.

It was really windy here last night and I'm hoping there's no damage as it sounded awful in the night. I'm hoping it just sounds worse in our bedroom as it's the extension so has no loft space to buffer the sound.

A very low spend week will be most welcome this week. 77p Tilly tidy today, 93p yesterday

Doesn't a bit of productivity do wonders? The children had another Christmas play production tonight as as Dh played taxi it meant I had a couple of hours to start wrapping presents. 3 more presents arrived today, have ordered another and sent an email to chase up the last one.

£3.08 Tilly tidy which was leftover in a couple of bills accounts. Accounts looking okay so be good to have enough to knock yet another month off before payday. :)
