Thanks everyone. Now have school skirts for dd, need to exchange her cardigans tomorrow so Dh will take her to try them on. Packing is mostly sorted, just need to add in the final bits, get it ironed and neatly packed. I am determined we will not overpack this time.

Hasn't worked out what to do with patties money (never work it into the budget and usually overpay it) so sent £4.84 to mortgage and sent £70 to credit card.

Was going to treat myself and dd to having our nails painted for holiday but thinking of just buying the polish and doing it myself. Will take it away with us as bound to get chips!

    August spends:
    Supermarket £186.55
    Fuel £171:50
    May 2024 - part 1 - £29,628 part 2 - £24,612 Total - £54,240 42 months to go!

Thanks both, we are almost ready. Just last checks and final bits to go in the luggage. It's been cool here today which makes me even more ready for a week of sunshine. I am going to thoroughly enjoy the all inclusive and be very good when I get back!!

Painted my nails which has saved £15 on having them done. They look ok so a job well done. Have prepped ready for our return, car filled with fuel so can go and pick up our puppy and birthday card written for a party ds has when we get back.

    August totals are:-

    Supermarket £186.55
    Fuel £171.50

    Total £358.05
This is £140 under budget and we have a weeks less spends as we're away so should be some leftover before next payday. Pretty please with our efforts this month we the Summer has been fairly expensive with childcare and uniform spends. September should be a breeze!!
    May 2024 - part 1 - £29,628 part 2 - £24,612 Total - £54,240 42 months to go!

Haha Apple, time will tell :rotfl:

Well we are back from yet another fantastic holiday, no more booked as yet. How will I cope!

We do however now also have a puppy and he's settled in brilliantly. Have spent today organising vets/insurance/microchip registration details etc. Had quite a few spends for puppy related items needed but think we are fully set up now.

Also paid the remaining £45 of dd school trip and done a small food shop and filled fuel in one of the cars. My healthy account balances have been severely depleted since arriving home

Mortgage balances updated in signature and we reduced balance overall by £785 last month which is fab. Made an overpayment today of tilly tidies and tcb money transferred over the last week and spreadsheet updated.

Right, off to finish the holiday washing and continue with the puppy toilet training!

    September spends

    Supermarket £26.44
    Fuel £30.01
    May 2024 - part 1 - £29,628 part 2 - £24,612 Total - £54,240 42 months to go!
