I'm 11 weeks today and my scan is on Wednesday morning, i can't wait! Was suddenly sick this morning, only the second time which is weird. I just feel sick the rest of the time! Reassuring that all is well though. Unfortunately i think might be getting the virus/infection i was struck down with while ago - my throat is soooo sore!

Have a day off at last, seems so long since i had one! The money from overtime is lovely but the shifts are hard work.

Opened 2 letters the other day, the first telling me Tax Credits owe me £309 to be paid by April :j and the second contained DH's payslip from job he has just left showing that his final wage was approximately this amount down! In one hand and out the other!!

Also worried i will incur a charge on my CC, payment due 22nd so sent it yday but don't think it will leave my account till 21st which i hadn't realised and had left it a little late tbh. Just hoping that as it's a Halifax account and CC it may credit it straight away!

Well, due to DH wages being awful this month I am realy struggling with our budget, was hoping to OP £250 this month but not sure how i will OP anything! Have had to pay for my professional registration but put that on the CC so will pay that next month, also going to pay the holiday balance next month as it isn't due till May and I have overtime due next month too. I'm just shocked how tight things are this month! However, I have just budgeted for normal CTC payment so if we get what we are due then we may have an extra £200 which i will then OP.

Anyone else having problems with Onepoll? I am finding it really slow and it keep kicking me off surveys - so annoying as there are quite a few showing that can be done.

Got my scan in the morning - i can't wait!!!

  • Cath the RCN will provide you with a tax form. You can put your registration, shoes, tights, cleaning your uniforms and I put a magazine subscription on it too (gardeners world or marie clare or nursing times or something).
They will back date it and it just alters your tax allowance.
I have done mine, and i have to pay tax on my lease car (community) but my weird tax stuff as above balance each other out....
Debt Sept 2012 £140,000 end age 65.5 (maximum) four mortgages in total
    April 2016 £114,599.83 (3 mortgages now)
Nil debt for some many years now perhaps 8. Need to save for a tent for holiday this year but nil else.
Over paying about £500 per month but fancy £600 so will have to think of some very money saving techniques...

Hi everyone, think i get the extra tax allowance for uniforms etc but not for annual subscription - shall i just ring the tax office?

Scan was fab!! Baby was so active and gave us a wave! Put me forward 5 days to so I am now due October 3rd and today am 12+3 (hmmm, so why was I sick this morning???)

Still cant get onto onepoll and it looks different again!

Quick question - as DH and I have both had final payslips for 2011. I have looked at our income for the year and curious to know what our tax credits will be for next year (esp as this years were based on my pitiful student income). I have 2 figures on my payslip as I claim childcare vouchers with tax and NI relief. The higher figure is gross and the lower taxable - do i go by the taxable figure? Can DH subtract his private pension contributions?

I really need to maximise income this month i think to see us through! Bank account hopefully look healthier once Tax credits are paid in tho!
