Few surveys done today, TCB account running low so nice to keep it topped up!

Tiredness has definitely set in today although we did manage a nice walk out to the local mere. Spent £20 on lunch but DH has interview there end of the month and the visit proved very worthwhile so worth every penny.

    lol Pammy!

DH was offered an interview but turned it down as it is less money (only 37 hours tho so works out better hourly but less overall), then was offered the job based on his initial informal interview as no one they interviewed was appropriate, he thought about it for a few days but turned it down. His work at the moment is awful, alreadydoing 48 hours for no extra but they are continuing to push him. He text manager of new place on off chance job still available and she will interview him the end of the month :j
When we went there yesterday a waitress said 'oh,are you the new chef. We're really excited about you starting' so i think the interview is just a formality.

Finished work and just done a few surveys as DD has slept since we got in! Checked online banking (Halifax) and for the first time ever my OP's have updated properly! The balance usually goes up. So as of today I owe £116,728.04!! OP of £450 reduced mortgage by £429.53.

I think a quiet weekend is planned due to this awful weather!

Not much if any MF activity going on today! Went to see my friend who has just had a baby and visit a relative in hospital so took her a few things. Have made banana cake with DD and am now exhausted, I could honestly go to bed! This pregnancy tiredness really does just hit you doesn't it.

I sometimes think i overstretch myself with OP's i.e have 2300 coming into the house yet paid mortgage 690+450 this month! However if i left it till the end of the month there would be nothing left to overpay. Therefore we are surviving till payday in 9 days - £25 in current account. I will be so rich when my mortgage has gone!

Day off today so hoping to give surveys a good go. Doing well on onepoll at DH should be ready for payout this month!

Am feeling quite nauseous the last 2 days :( however have just eaten a banana and my tummy has settled. Sickness was quite bad last time around so hoping to avoid/minimise it! Only had 2 cups of coffee yesterday though so baby is fab at making sure you don't eat/drink things which are not good for them! Have got midwife appointment this morning but i imagine we won't do much until i have had my scan.

Confirmation came yesterday for our Sun Holiday, we have 4 nights in Devon (we're in N Wales) in July. I will be 6 months pregnant but hopefully be at the stage i still feel well. Had a look at the park on internet last night and it looks fab - can't wait!

  • I used to drink a lot of ginger tea particularly when i was pregnant with DS2. I was sick till about 20 weeks every day without fail, usually in the evening when i was shattered and still looking after DS1 and trying to get him bathed and in bed before i sorted our tea. I only put on about half a stone the whole way through even though i pigged out non stop. Kind of explains my weight problems now as i still have such a sweet tooth.

Just noticed how much of your normal wage is mortgage payment before the overpayment. I feel lucky as mine has never been higher than nearly £500, and is less than £200 now. Ever thought of doing a mix between reducing term and reducing payment? It might make things easier when you are on mat leave later in the year.

I was sick every single day with both of mine, but found lucozade and ginger biscuits were my thing. I hope it passes and food helps you as there's nothing worse than feeling like poo all the time. I don't know how I would be able to do it again with a toddler in the house, I could barely look after myself last time and DD1 was 11 so was a great help to me.

I was sick till 18 weeks with DD but i think that was due to me working 12 hour nights 4 days a week from 12-18 weeks - the tiredness and not eating properly made things a lot worse. I will keep snacks handy and have had dry crackers etc this morning. Our mortgage is big compared to our income but we pushed ourselves to buy this and i was delighted that at 22 I bought a 3 bed detached house! Our normal mortgage payment is fine, i just wish i could OP more. Our mortgage was £200 in our first house!

I am lucky in that my maternity pay is good full pay for 3 months, then 3 months at 90% and 3 months statutory. I think OPs would stop in those last 3 months!

It is soooo different this time round with a toddler, i must remember to try and nap when DD does but nothing would get done if i did!

Right, going to hoover before i get too comfy sitting down!

Make sure that you try and rest a bit, especially if you're not feeling well. I hope that the sickness passes soon for you.

Thanks Rach, DD had a mammoth nap but i couldn't sleep, just feel totally drained. Am too tired to do any housework! Shopping arrived earlier from Mr T (quidco offering £10 off and £7 cashback) and have ordered salad stuff so hoping that will give me some energy! I'd normally drink gallons of coffee! Looking forward to DH coming home and taking over (good job he is willing to do that after a 10 hour shift)

Sold one on DH's dvd boxsets on amazon after listing it the day before - think that'll be about £16 profit. He has a stag do (his brothers) which he needs to pay the deposit for so that will go towards that so in effect i have had the money as deposit was coming out of joint account anyway. He's catching on the this MFW business! He has given me some more to list but will do them in the morning when he is here.

Midwife put me back 3 days too, due October 11th now and i think that's making me psychologically fatigued!
