Feeling even more better! so much so that all the bedding is on the line.Hope it dries tho as although it's bright it's not too windy, kept heating off most of the day which is good.
Had some lovely news, one of my closest friends who is an absolute star with our DD (DH says we should have asked her to be godmother but didn't realise how close we would become) has found out today she is pregnant so we will be pregnant together. It will be so lovely to share each stage.

DD is enjoying a 2hour nap, she has a bit of a cold so am leaving her sleep. I'm pretty tired now so i wish i had joined her!

Can't believe it's February - how did that happen!!!

I am pretty glad to see the back of January to be honest, but it is scary how quick the months are merging.

I totally agree about the surprise thing - I found out with DD1 (but my pregnancy wasn't confirmed til 29 weeks which was a shock in itself):rotfl:

I don't think if I hadn't been on my own - thinking something was seriously wrong with me - I would have emotionally blurted out 'what's the sex?'

I didn't find out with DD2 but had a v pink nursery, which I loved and was only 20 months old there's not much age gap with my two (so we decorated the other bedroom pale blue as OH was convinced she was a he) I thought she was a she, but didn't argue. It was quite unisex with teddies.

Now that room is disney princess as we did it for DD1's 2nd bday. I have DD1s room for DD2. So both rooms are very girly.

We had to buy unisex clothes, as even our babygrows were pinks and lilacs but we used them (so it wasn't really a waste) Like you I love babies in white and cream. Mine both wore babygrows for the first 6 weeks.

I think it's lovely your DD can chat about the baby I couldn't do that with mine as I was pregnant by her first bday so she was a bit young.

As for names we had two sorted for DD2 but in the ward after I'd had her I said could it be 'her name' and OH agreed - I'd said he could choose but I couldn't let him when it came down to it - we both like her name now though. :rotfl:

Wow, 29weeks - i knew from 5 weeks with DD and literally from 3 weeks with this one (am 5 weeks pregnant tomoro) - I am going to have a long pregnancy especially as I went 8 days over with DD.

I will be honest, if they had asked me at my 20 week scan if i wanted to know i would have been tempted.

Have sorted through baby clothes and I have barely any newborn stuff! Must have sold it all! Do have the big items though and am going to look at some stuff later someone is selling locally. I know it's early days but they are a bargain.

Mortgage balance has updated today so now stands at £117,157.62 with £450 OP going out tomoro. Had about £4.30 ready to come from TCB so have requested that to top up current account and £15 is on way from paypal so that may cover most of baby purchases.

I feel REALLY tired today but refuse to let the tiredness win, am trying to battle it and think psychologically i can overcome it! I just remember feeling so exhausted last time. Am a little worried I'm not eating well enough and vitamin wise am just taking folic acid and b6 as stuff with iron in makes me feel yucky.

  • Cath you can't overcome it, but it will fade, the tiredness. Be gentle with yourself, make the most of this time if you can, and REST!

I seriously could have napped this morning! I have to remember just how busy my body is right now! DD not slept today so need to work hard to keep her awake and then hope for an early, easy bedtime as DH going to football training straight from work. Would also like to fit an evening meal in there somewhere!

Tried to do some surveys but not getting many through at the moment.
