Keeping spends low mostly helped by being super busy and only going to work and nowhere else! 200 points on y0ugov last few days helped by a 150 point survey. Why can't there be more of those??!?

Considering giving up gluten when we get back from Rome, not giving it up the week before we'll be living on pizza and pasta! I stopped eating meat 2 weeks before our last all inclusive holiday!

Have been browsing colour charts for the decorating being done in a couple of weeks. We're looking a various shades of grey and already have goose down grey in family area, snug and dd bedroom. Will probably go for a deeper shade for ds bedroom and hall, stairs and landing. Am so looking forward to finally having a finished house! I understand in reality that will be shortlived as there will soon be more jobs to do and decorating just highlights which other rooms need doing!

Hoping to manage a few chapters of my book before falling asleep, it took me a while to pick it up but started last night and it's great so far!

50 points on y0ugov this morning. DH has gone to get the euros for our Rome trip this week. Bit annoyed about the forecast rain but hopefully it won't be as bad as the forecast predicts. We'll pack over the weekend which won't take long as it's such a short trip. Have transferred £515 to decorating fund and current account looking healthy so we're splashing out on more wine for this evening.

This time next week I'll set us a strict budget and mini challenge as payday will only be two weeks away and I want to make a mortgage OP and pay some more money off the holiday(s).

Plan for the rest of the day is cleaning and to find some time for a hot chocolate and few chapters of my book.

We've painted out living room walls grey and will do the same in the dining room. I find it to be a relaxing colour, and it seems quite 'on trend' at the moment

It was quite springlike here earlier this week, with bright sunshine - makes you feel so much better.

Hope your sore throat improves soon

Hot chocolate and a book sounds just what's needed. Hope you found the time.

    Enjoy Rome as

  • Rome is actually really good for keeping off gluten, but I get what you mean. :)

We haven't got grey walls because we have grey carpets and it might be a little much!

    Have a wonderful trip. :D

Throat much better, didn!!!8217;t last long. Energy levels not so much.
Am waiting for latest results to be reviewed by GP, am assuming they are in range as have been on iron for over 3 months again. I just want to be able to ask for them to be reviewed again in a couple of months.

Still browsing shades of grey and think we!!!8217;ll go for darker shades that what we have used elsewhere. Will have a look at your shades too for inspiration.

25p on y0ugov, have also collected extra nectar points vouchers over the weekend and both cars are full of fuel in £10 increments! All washing up to date but the dryer has been on all day, roll on Spring and line dried washing!

The children are making me feel very guilty about our mini break especially ds who keeps expressing how much he will miss me!

Dd manages to make me feel guilty for going to work at 6.30am, as she doesn't get to see me! And it is only once a week!

That!!!8217;s an early start apple, at least it!!!8217;s only once a week like you say.

Returned the hat I bought from Mr S which was £14 and dh got me a much better one from primarni for £2!! It!!!8217;s more my colour too as I can!!!8217;t wear black, it makes me look awful.

Have frozen some bread and chicken that won!!!8217;t get used to avoid waste and I!!!8217;ve just decluttered the jelly!

Should be having an early night as got an early start tomorrow but I might fall asleep on the budget airline to get me through it!
