Urgh, another 2am start. Gave in about 4am and am downstairs so relieved I have HUTH for company!

Small top up shop done yesterday, food spends just under £100 so far this month. Found £3.39 leftover in one of the bills accounts so sent that to t3sco to go towards the shoe spends!

I need to keep an eye on new accounts and check balances of the one providing the switch. Hopefully those vouchers be on their way soon. I know its early for the C word but we are planning on making a Christmas dinner in our lodge at CP so will use the vouchers for some side dishes to make it easier and rather tasty.

We have also been trying to get some quotes for a canopy above the front door. We have a window company replacing the final 2 windows soon (didn't want to complicate things with the builder) and we were hoping for a canopy but they can't provide the style we wanted and every quote is getting higher. Latest quote is £990 but since replacing the garage roof is *only* £3k we will ask builder about it. We did broach it last time he called and he was very laid back and just said 'yeah, I'll ask the joiner'. He is due back in next couple of weeks so will ask him again. It's not vital we have it done but it will finish the house off nicely and we are creating our dream house after all.

Dd enjoyed her street dance lessons yesterday - money well spent. I didn't get these opportunities so I don't tend to say no to any extra curricular stuff she wants to do.

Not much else to report, y0ugov gone very quiet. It's almost payday so will check accounts and try and set a cash budget so we can send some more money to t3sco.

Hi Muser, hope it's not too long a day for you. dd woke me and I couldn't go back off.

Have just found another £33 in dh bills account so sent it to t3sco. Think I got confused with the dd switch and sent over too much money. One pair of shoes almost paid for!

Thanks bookworm, Impressed with myself that I am still awake and functioning.

£3 paid to t3sco as dh popped for small food shop and they didn't have the granola I wanted as an impulse buy!

Petrol topped up, almost a day closer to payday!

    Morning!

Feeling much brighter this morning as yesterday was another early start (2:30am) but last night went to bed later as had popped out to a friends and slept all night!

5p Tilly tidy this morning and 5 days to payday. I think £25 will see us survive until payday but since I've got £20 in my purse I'll see if we can manage on that instead. If we spend anything it will just be a small top up shop.

Dh tells me the council have rung him and they have seen the brick and roof tile and are sending us a bill for £30 there was no mention of this preciously but I assume it's to pay them for looking at the brick and tile they asked for! I do feel ready for the work to start now but have realised that half term falls in a really busy and disruptive part of the build! I think I'd rather be away from the chaos as much as possible and I know the children will be very inquisitive!

This week is flying by and although I 'feel'ready for the building work - the house isn't so some daily decluttering and sorting out needed.

Glad you are sleeping better cath, sometimes it's a vicious circle of worrying you won't sleep well and your brain waking you up for no good reason!

Thanjs newgirly, I've tried staying awake until I'm really tired and have slept better the last two nights. My mind did start racing as soon as I got into bed though.

50p on y0ugov yesterday so up to £10. Dh m*s account activated but no online access as yet. My paperwork has been sent off now as well. Fingers crossed that's £200 worth of vouchers on the way to me soon! The payday money shuffle has just got more complicated! :rotfl:

We are off to look for a new car later so hoping to get a good deal.

Have found dd birthday present and when I looked I could only see them for over £50! Bay of e come to the rescue at £10.99 and dh has bought a bundle of toys from a friend for ds birthday in a couple of weeks. We don't get ours a 'main' present for their birthday and christmas and whilst they don't seem to notice we will carry on as we are!
This week has absolutely flown which I am grateful for as I'm quite stressed out at the moment and need some relaxation.

Nothing exciting, probably a c0rsa, had French cars for years and not too impressed at some of the problems we've had.
