Thirded! :rotfl:a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

I think I need to do more pottering re: the house and maximise time in the mornings.
M*s accounts approved, just waiting for dh t3sco account to go live online so I can transfer another £3k
T3sco have sent us some money off coupons, I don't shop there as our store is massive, busy and I don't like the car park as it gets so congested. However, with a big food shop due and a birthday cake to buy I can justify going there to get £7 off £50!
B*gas bill ready and we can reduce dd by another £10. I'm not going to though, winter is looming! I do need to change tarrif end of the month though so might look at their weekend rate offer.
Can tell the children are back at school, requests for money keep arriving home! So far I have had to find £30 snack money, £6 gardening club. Will sort out dance and football tomorrow. Dh currently has 3 lots of paperwork to take to the school office so that's plenty for one day!
After all these spends have done another y0ugov survey! 50p in the pot.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I need to look into it MFD.
Today will be interesting, been pretty stressed this week between work and learning that ds has been picked on in the playgroundhad headaches this week, nightmares and final straw is being awake since 1am this morning. I gave in at 3am and got up. Trying to see the flip side and I now have a sparkly kitchen and utility room and load of washing done.
Totalled up what school has cost on the first week back. Running costs for this week £101 :eek:June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Even being a teacher and seeing the other side I think the demands for money from school are bonkers.
I get really grumpy that the kids can only drink water because we are a healthy eating school but we need cakes and a quid for a cake sale every week.0 -
Ours demand healthy lunches, no crisps or chocolate and then do a table of the week where they give out squash and sweets!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
