Thank you ETE, it went really well.all the children had a fantastic time!

I fell asleep again this afyernoon ,went to doctors yesterday who has suggested some blood tests. Just can't seem to shift this exhaustion. Planning a day at home tomorrow apart from going to pick up the new car which is very exciting :j

  • Glad you are being cared for by doc but also think it perfectly reasonable to be exhausted. You push yourself very hard.
  • Hope you are ok!

Thanks shs and debtfree, am sure it's just life making me feel this way!

Had another quick daytime nap yesterdaynand finally gave in and went to bed at 9pm.

WM on, although it looks dreary outside my weather app says not so am hoping for the best! Yesterday was windy and cool but I'm hoping were still weeks away from needing the CH. I've resorted to fluffy socks and an extra layer for now.

25p earned on y,0ugov,got turned down for PC AGAIN!! You win some you lose some. CP holiday balance paid off and sent £250 to cc towards new sofa we have bought. We are surviving with a 2 seater and lots of blankets and cushions in the lounge until it arrives.

When I was deciding what to do with childrens' savings accounts, dd had £80 floating around so I have sent that to her JISA which is growin nicely. Just hoping she is disciplined when she takes control of it on maturity!

Next job is writing cards for the neighbours as extension starts next week!

Well hello Monday, that weekend flew by!

New car picked up and we all love it. The children said 'its like mum's,but better!'

It does feel extravagant having a one year old car but we can afford it and needed a new one! I! Now actually thankful for the lessons paying astronomical nursery fees have taught us as we lived below our means and now have money to spare. Of course, getting rid of the mortgage is a priority but making memories and living comfortably is also important too.

Dh did some more overtime yesterday, it doesn't impact on our Sunday and its extra money for us (but gets paid off 0% debt!)

    9 days until our extension starts!!!!! :j :j :j
I can't wait but know that the end of next week our house will be a mess. First stage is removing an old external wall (it separates our garage conversion and dining room currently)

Hope everyone has a good week, I'm hoping for less stress and more sleep.

3p Tilly tidy, awake since 2am. Have finished my book though!
Will be reading 'girl on the train' next.

Food spends going well for the month and I can't believe we are almost at the end. Whar happened to September? In an effort to use up everything made a banana cake over the weekend and will make another later...tiredness permitting after work.

    Financial update ....

M*s switch has gone through, £200 worth of vouchers should be on their way in 30 days with another £240 over the course of the next 12 months :j new direct debits in place and accounts funded.

£6.26 hit account from cash back current account, not been any decent offers this month so no cash back expected in October. Sent this to t3sco, every little helps!

Another busy day yesterday. Finished work late, had just enough time to eat before taking dd to athletics. She was delighted to knock 10 seconds off her cross country PB (second time of going) and I managed to stay awake until 10pm which was impressive after an early start. Thankfull slept 10-5.15 last night so should function a lot better today!

Dh been unwell this week and had 2 days of unpaid sick leave. Thankfully he's already done over time this month and it is a 5 week month so we won't have lots extra but shouldn't be out of pocket.

We usually have NSD's but had minimal spends yesterday, 1st class stamp and £1.20 athletics (the cheapest activity dd does!)
We're both enjoying the new car although dh driving it more than me, not sure how that happened!

25p on youg0v this morning. Dh did a £4.31 top up shop so we would come in at £170 on groceries this month :j

Extension work is just days away now!
