Re the Halifax reward - it goes in right at the end of the first working day of the month, so, unless you stay up to midnight, it'll be showing on your account on the morning of the 2nd working day of the month.
As the 1st of May was at the weekend, and the 2nd of May was a bank holiday, it was very delayed this monthEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Ooh, you picked a nice sunny day to have a birthday
Hope you're having a lovely day.
I think we'll all be shouting a collective MFW 'woohoo' when the PP finally goes through, the planning people have certainly made you wait long enough for it ~ hopefully not long now.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Happy birthdayMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Thanks everyone. Had a lovely day, did some clothes shopping (I never buy myself clothes!) And went out for lunch. Cost £30 for mains and drinks but in a lovely setting and worth every penny. The weather has been glorious today!
Paid for shopping spree on cc so have been shuffling some money round to pay it off before bill generated. Still £28 ish left to find/transfer.
