Hi muser, it's slightly before. Children would miss 3 days but our head is pretty good and the children otherwise have 100% attendance. Holiday prices were shocking!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Great news re holiday
Your food spends are amazing! I can just about do 350-400 on a good month on just food/ alcohol for us (2 adults, 2 teens (18F & 16M) and a 10 and almost 7yo) and veg for 3 guinea pigs but there's no way I could get anywhere near you - well done!

Have you changed your target weight Helen?
Small top up shop done yesterday £13.98 so need to update total. Weekend went far too quickly so looking forward to the bank holiday! Didn't manage to be very productive but have moved all winter hats out of utility room into basket where they belong upstairs. Probably a bit premature looking at the weather but its almost May!
Quickly worked out some targets for next month and can afford to pay the remaining £550 holiday deposit that is due. Deposit was £200 a person!!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Good morning.
No pennies to Tilly tidy and having a tight month so can't spare a £1 each day!
Have enough food to last until then end of the week/month although no clear meal plan in place and we have run out of batch cooked food.
Could end up being a spendy end to the month as I need to replace a misplaced pe kit (not too happy about this as was all labelled and should be on dd's peg!) And Ds has been bribed with a toy for a change in his bed time routine.
Work is crazy busy at the moment and I feel like I'm getting further behind each day so need to rectify that. Am definitely looking forward to next week, its a bank holiday and I have an extra day off for my bday (I never take my birthday off!) So although days off split up its only a 3 day working weekJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
New bedtime routine is going well
am hoping it will make it easier to go out for the odd evening in the future!
Cc bill not generated as expected today, I could do with transferring the funds so its clearer what is left in the account. Hoping to escape needing to replace all pe kit as managed to find some spare items at home. Dd does need new trainers though and since she's a half size it will mean another trip to cl@rkes! I'm just grateful the outlet store isn't too far away.
Dh didna small top up shop today of about £7 so new totals are
Food. £221.98
Petrol £211.03
Pretty pleased with that :jJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Target weight not changed as such but would kind of like to lose that last bit of tummy. Have had lots of "you've lost more weight" statements / accusations (thats how it feels) this last few days, which I haven't so feel like verbalising that to be half stone lighter wouldn't go down well with anyone who knows me. Find quite frustrating... I genuinely haven't lost ANYTHING for 17 months, I suppose the question is, is anyone ever truly happy with there body shape? I can see my ribs but my tummy looks squishy, I still calorie count and I know if I did put my mind to it, 7lb isn't that hard but if I did lose it, where would it be from!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... I don't think any of us are truly happy. You are so dedicated to still be calorie counting. DH has gone to play football and out of sheer boredom I have just eaten a scone, a packet of crisps, 2 hobnobs and a banana! I dread to think of the calories. Are you finding your tummy is toning through running?
Not much to report today, 1p rescued from the pavement, saved 50p in parking as machine not working and 39p spent on bananas. Finally got around to posting two parcels that have been in the footwell of my car all week too!
Got my payslip and despite a 1% payrise my take home pay is less than last month!
ETA also made a 25p tillytidy. Payday 3 weeks away and Tilly tidies will be as good as it gets!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
