This has taken a while to post but have finally got around to it.

I had a quick look back at what we achieved /made us happy in 2015.
We paid £12600 off debts, reduced 7 cc to 3! I ran first 10k and a half marathon, we had 3mininbreaks including centre parcs, D's started school, dd achieved her 50m swimming badge, I settled into new career, bravely put house on market, had a new car, both children had leading roles in nativity play.

Written quite randomly but those are the highlights.

2016 is divided into health, wealth and happiness. I think earthgirl, courgette, or museum worker did this?

    Health

    Cure dd's eczema
Run at least 10 miles a week
    Run 2 HM
Support dh who wants to run
    Continue to reduce caffeine intake
Drink wine every other Friday rather than every week.

    Wealth

    Pay 4k off credit cards
    Continue paying into S&S ISA
    Dh to increase pension contributions
Mortgage to be sub £85k at year end

    Happiness

Enjoy a Christmas break at cp
    Enjoy traditional Easter break
    Extend or sell house
    Read with the children everyday
Keep running - I need to!
Have regular family time (dd suggested bike rides)
Help Ds to learn to ride bike without stabilisers
Dd wants to join athletics (currently too young)
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

Been out for a 9.25 mile run today, was tough on the knees towards the end but considering I haven't been running regularly since October, I am really pleased :j

Paid ds childcare costs for the month yesterday. What a huge difference, instead of 400 on top of childcare voucher, I now use only childcare voucher and even have some left hoping this surplus builds up so costs will end before summer hols :)

I still work my wages out and write £300 nursery so this money goes somewhere.

£17 top up shop done and have booked a colour analysis for DM and me. It is expensive but I have wanted to do it for so long and it should helpme declutter as can get rid of all the wrong colour clothes :rotfl:

Money wise, it is veeeerrrry tight until pay day! In reality we could do with 8 consecutive NSD's!!

Love your plans for the year cath, it's a great idea to do it that way. In the past I have found it's easy to neglect happiness by becoming to obsessed with finances, much better to have a balance :)

Thanks both, good luck with your 2016 plans too.

Helen, HM is in 5 weeks! Started training last week  after last 2 long runs I am feeling more confident. My run today absolutely flew by!

There should be some more in may, june, sept for me to choose from. DH fancies the September one, would love to run it together. However when I suggested he run today he declined! His asthma is affecting him though so I will let him off.

Had a wonderful afternoon with the children, completely opposite to yesterday! Did some sounds with DS on his tablet and he surprised me at recognising sounds and making words. I definitely want to invest more in this as per my goal.

Think I will treat myself to a hot chocolate with cream, if I am going to burn off 1200 calories I am definitely eating some of them! DH is watching a film (in bits each day!!) so as I haven't a clue what is going on I will read my book and try not to cry reading it again!

Have a relaxing evening everyone, read this recently amd trying to bear it in mind:

    :mad:Just lost a post.

Feedback from viewers is a no. One has others to view but I have learned that is a polite 'thanks but no thanks' in the estate agent world.
Have emailed architect to respond to a query so we shall see how that progresses. Water bill has arrived and is in budget so will get that paid later.

We are in the survival week before payday! Minimal spending is essential!

I feel your pain with the viewings feedback - used to drive me insane, especially if you'd made the effort of an extra tidy around etc.
