I wear all the wrong colours, I'm an autumn but I always go for black & grey & navy & electric blue
I just can't see myself in brown & moss green, even though when I do try clothes in those colours I can see they really work!
Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!0 -
Did you not do it this morning newgirly?
All you autumns!! Aren't colours that aren't in your range OK if teamed with one of your colours? I guess keeping them away from face or adding a scarf let's you get away with it.
Payday number 1 tomorrow, can.....not......wait!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I think it just matters which colour is near your face... So a black top would be fine with a nice scarf. I love orange, browns, warm reds and also cream, corals and warm yellows. khaki green is a winner too. I still have lots of black things, but as I said, so long as it's not a turtle neck it seems Ok.
All good fun0 -
I found this, I know it's not as extensive as the paid for one but might help

That's a really useful link and will definitely refer back to it!
Payday and architect fund back up to £800 with more to be added at the end of the week.
Feeling drained today, work is really busy at the moment and I am ready for a break! Christmas feels like such a long time ago.
Managed to book piano lessons for dd today, she started a while ago and quickly gave up but feels ready to start again. Hoping she enjoys them more this time around, turns out it was the wobbly piano stool that put her off!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Morning, no pennies for a tt so sent a whole £1. Read this on another diary, think it's a tip taken from shanghaijimmy. Since we have so many NSD this will help tackle things in small stages.
Reward card finally arrived from the terrible company! Was meant to be for £100 and they sent £75 but I am beyond complaining now. I believe the only reason I have been sent it was as I insisted they keep the complaint open, every other time I have been completely fobbed off. Just over 4 months until I can leave, no special offer would ever persuade me to stay with them!
My car is still not fixed and proving to be a complete nightmare, no one seems to know how to fix it! We have another attempt tomorrow!
Payday for me tomorrow and I will be able to pay cc bills and send some to savings. Seriously, this is all that happens on payday, we don't look forward to it so we can spend it! Really hoping to have made a difference to WIOTW figures. Once reward card proved to be effective I will send £75 from food account to cc. It's time to make each and every pound work as hard as it can for us. If I could choose better funds in my investments that would be a good thing, have even lost interest in checking now!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Oh dear, I hope the car is sorted out soon cath, it's always a sense of panic when something goes wrong as to how much it will cost, I hope,it's not too serious.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Thanks newgirly, the car has survived another day. It is so stressful as no one seems to know how to fix it.
Last two days have been nsd's which is always a bonus around payday. I knew our wages weren't meant for spending!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
