Thanks bw,have sent you a pm. It's a national company who have consultants working for them, I have paid £130 which is a lot of money but I really wanted it done.

6p Tilly tidy yesterday and did an online shop to be delivered in a few days. A weeks shopping was £40.25 after using £5 voucher!

Discussed with dh about really watching the pennies again, he seemed to be listening. :) its just too easy to slip into bad spending habits, dh are mostly food related and b3n and j3rries ice cream is not cheap!

Am hoping I manage to squeeze in a run or shred later but children have swimming then meeting friends and I have woken up with what feels could potentially turn into a migraine, have just been trying to get my blood sugars up as that makes me feel rotten.

Started a new book yesterday by Kate Atkinson, am a first timer and managed 4 chapters which is a good sign! Dh and dd went to watch star wars so ds andi had a lovely few hours together. Went back to basics and did colouring, went on a 'camping adventure' before watchingn a bit of a film together. Dd cinema trip was a success. We haven't been back since she was 3 and D's was a few weeks old as it was a disaster! I had a vision of a wonderful Christmas eve trip to the cinema that did not meet my expectation! Dd was a star though so hopefully a monthly trip out is on the cards.

Rights, busy day ahead and dh is doing overtime again. Good for the bank balance but it makes the weekends go far too fast.

Weekend went too fast but we did have some lovely times.

There may be progress with BT as I have had an email. We shall see if that results in the missing reward!

Payday just a few days away! Started off with £840 for architects which has been depleted by day to day living and a £300 car bill. Think we are back up to £220 heading into next payday. That's £220 more than if we just saved what was left at the end of the month.

Dh did 7 hours overtime but went to bed at 7:30pm. That doesn't seem balanced!

Small top up shop yesterday as I had a need for cake and also got items for dd to have a packed d lunch. She claims to be fussy when it comes to sandwiches so has opted for rocket and beetroot! Not your standard choice for a 7 year old!

Monday has come round far too fast, I am seriously ready for a bank holiday! Am guessing it's the time of year making it particularly difficult.

Work is varied this week so hoping that means a quick week. Also payday this week and the usual money shuffle.

    January spends

    Food - £195.38
    Petrol - £149.03

Hey Cath - did you have your colours done? What are you? I had mine done a few years ago - I'm an Autumn... :)

Hi lulabelle, am going next month. Am possibly a winter but we shall see. Looking forward to being able to wear the right colours to make me look fabulous!
Do you stick to your colours?

Payday for dh tomorrow so accounts emptied in preparation! Have sent £6 to cc and will clear one of them tomorrow. The repayments take up such a large part of our income which I don't wish to spend, I want to throw it at the mortgage! Car still not fixed, being looked at again this week.

No house news so just waiting on designs from architect. Expecting them to be done in the next week or so. Am sure the requests for payment and planning fees will be happening then.

Been awake since 4:45am and planning to run at least 6 miles after work. Not really sure how that's going to work so am going to prepare myself a healthy juice to energise me! I really am expecting a lot from spinach and sunflower seeds this morning!

It was a few years ago that I had it done... I mostly stick to my colours. There are certain colours that I always liked but for whatever reason never wore them when I bought clothes in said colour - I now know that its because they really don't suit me!

I tend to stick to certain colours now, knowing that they suit me best. The only thing I do that goes against "the advice' is that I still like to wear a bit of black. But, I find that so long as it's a lowish cut neckline and not too near my face, I can still get away with it.

It's also handy when making make up choices too.

It makes shopping so much easier because I no longer look at everything - my eyes are just drawn to certain colours.
