Sounds like a lovely weekend despite having to pay for the car tax. Always good to get free tickets for something and experience something new isn't it.

I found shopping at L!dl still gets me more without getting any deals etc. The trolley is never as full when we go to one of the big supermarkets and we spend the same amount or more.

Thanks Newgirly, as the children are still little they love these little breaks. I would rather be able to take them away more often by doing it like this.

At last, some current account activity! CB has landed so 72p Tilly tidy, £20 back to account that I shuffled. Will leave the rest where it is for now. Need to find some money to kick start my S&S isa as the dd didn't kick in this month.

Not feeling particularly wonderful at the moment, seem to be battling overwhelming tiredness which is frustrating. Am hoping it passes quickly.

Hopefully be able to catch up on some diaries this evening. :)

This evening has flown by! Haven't done much apart from an online food shop. Had a £5 voucher to use and tried to shop carefully.

    New totals

    Food - £180.79
    Petrol- £108.54

Am still completely exhausted. My body knows when I am ready for annual leave!

Shop arrived without any new discount vouchers. Won't be using them again for a while! :rotfl:

I have got to the end of my working week! I have taken 2 days leave and am planning far too much. I am expecting to achieve so much in 2 extra days off!

    I sense a list.....

    1) deep clean living room prior to carpet being fitted
    2) touch up paintwork in living room before carpet fitters arrive
    3) declutter some toys (I have started to make up a bundle of a certain character!)
    4) read meters
    5) clarify what is going on with ISA
    6) pay 2 cc bills with cb money
    7) photograph flooring and see if we can sell for a little bit before offering for free!
    8) deep clean bathrooms
    9) sort out car tax dd
    10) sell bundle of DS clothes

    That should keep me busy.

Carpet done and flooring sold. We had to get a joiner to adjust the door so the sale covered that. ISA checked and seems sorted, I have 38p more than I originally invested!

Trying to keep clutter and furniture minimal in the lounge which means a lot of stuff hasn't made it's way back in the room, but has not made its way out of the house! :rotfl: I will get there.

25p Tilly tidy and will pay cc tomorrow. Current account running low but payday for us both next week. It has been such a long month!
