Thanks Mrs E. The power of the mind meant I didn't enjoy it that much anyway!
Will do Brodie, I am under the impression you can do it without those details but will come unstuck if I need them.
Managed to run just over 7 miles yesterday and carried on even when the heavens opened!
Have a morning off work before going on training later which means I was able to cancel nursery saving £35!! Cancelling breakfast club has saved another £2.90. Going to work is expensive!
Had a fantastic weekend full of fun and making memories. Children had a fab time yesterday. Reward charts working well too, who knew a sticker was so exciting!!
Jobs to do today:
1) Book dental check ups for children
2) Cancel NT membership
3) Investigate PPI
4) Enter a half marathon
5) Do online shopJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Running in the rain are my favourite conditions. I am cooler and therefore I can go further.0

Brill I'll give it a shot too then, did you just use the template on here?
I need to get back into the running, always feel more virtuous when I've run in the raid!0 -

Jobs list complete apart from the online shop which I will do later. Have a meeting at school first to meet with dd teacher for next year. Our NT membership doesn't expire until end of July so we can get some more use out of it before then.
I rang my bank about PPI and apparently I have never had it, I am amazed how some people are able to claim back thousands! Brodiebobs, I just rang them but can't be bothered pursuing it further.
Went on some training earlier and walked home, was a good brisk 35 minute walk so hopefully will have burned off the bit of cake I enjoyed this morning! I may have read an article that suggest running and wine don't mix but have also read one saying that cake does!

Spends so far
Food - £294.55
Petrol- £253.93
Petrol spends higher than anticipated but a full tank last DH 3 weeks and it's fallen so that he filled up at the beginning and end of the month. Again, should see this reduce next month
!
Morning all, the end of the month is here so can check food and petrol spends. Total is £548.48. I'm quite shocked at the total actually as didn't realising we were spending quite so much.
How does this compare to others? We are a family of 2 adults and 2 hungry children (might be cheaper if they ate like a bird!) and have 2 cars.
I would like to get this to £500 a month so this may spur me on to do more online shopping to resist temptation.
Have 3 weeks until payday, £104 in the bank and £6 in my purse. Definitely won't need more cash before Friday so am hoping there is money to spare to send as an OP. I only tend to need £15-20 maximum to get through each week) anticipated spends today on stamps as need to send off half marathon paperwork. If I don't do it today I am bound to forget.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone, stay hydrated and safe.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

That's not bad Newgirly considering you have a bigger family you get a lot out of your budget.
£64 in the bank but have £35 coming out between lunch money check and entry fee for race. 20 days until payday!!
Need to update sig but at the halfway point we have paid 57.6% of our WIOTW target so are well on track. We should have more disposable income in the second half of the year. Have opened a shocking nursery bill this evening though, is it awful that I can't wait for him to leave.
Too hot to run this evening but am loving this great weather. Flowers opening nicely in the garden which is bringing some lovely colour to it. I just wish I had more time to garden, my time will come
