    Great stuff, well done :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Morning all, it's a glorious morning here and am looking forward to the weekend ahead.

Have stripped 2 beds and the washing will be on the line shortly.

Have done some financials and after setting a target to pay £500 the cc as we both got paid this week, I am delighted we have paid £514.50! It's amazing what a mini-goal can do. This means that this month, we have knocked 2 months off the cc end date. Of course, it will be much earlier than this :D Managed to get to the post office so cleared one card and have money ready to clear the other when the bill arrives.

I have also paid dd breakfast club fees to the end of the year so I know where I am financially before needing to use holiday club for 2 weeks of the holidays. It's going to be amazing having no costs at all in August, money shuffle will be fun that month as I won't be spending any of it! :rotfl:

Food and petrol spends not complete for the month, DH did a small shop yesterday and I need petrol. July should definitely be a cheaper month as we will start it with full cupboards and petrol tanks! :D

Thanks Al :) Loving the new job and learning from the stressful situations. Still finding my feet but having really good feedback and am assured I have a good future ahead of me. There are opportunities to specialise a little based on key interests. Am very fortunate really to have such opportunities.

Low spend day today. Got petrol (i'll update total when I locate receipt), took DS to a birthday party which dd also thoroughly enjoyed. I had planned to take her into the local town for an ice-cream but it wasn't needed. DH used his spends to buy ice lollies on the way home instead. I've tidied up my raised bed this afternoon as the rocket was out of control. I have pulled it out and planted more lettuce and rocket seeds. DH cut the hedge at the front I started last week so that looks better.

Had a challenging day with the children so they now have a reward chart each!! DH gone to visit a relative in hospital and hasn't ruled out arriving home with wine despite me resisting the urge to go and buy some several times today :rotfl:

I'm watching 'born naughty' which is not helping things!

CC bill arrived and we only have £50 outstanding instead of the £100 I though. So....paid £50 off the c3ntre p4rks balance. Had post through from the 8un hols too, tempted to book for next Easter.

Shred is fab MG. I used to manage it 3 times a week but really struggling to be bothered to do it lately, hence fitness has dropped. What level do you do? I have fallen out of love with level 3 so sticking with 2!

I'm at 3 times per week at the moment and about to up it to 4. I'm only on level 1 - I did try level 2 but found it easier than level 1 for some reason. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Well done on your debt-busting - you're doing brilliantly! :T

That's really good MG. I used to have a good routine of doing it when the children went to bed but have lost my motivation!

I used to do level 3 but fell out of love with metabolic jump training!

Today's plan is to have a lovely family day and hopefully complete a few tasks.

DH mentioned PPI last night and this is something we have never looked into. He mentioned a claim company but I reminded him that it's not needed. I was approached in the past by a company who wanted over £200 upfront

I will have a look at the template on this site later and just send off to all the companies I think may owe us something! I am assuming anyone we have had a mortgage, cc or loan with?
It's rained last night which may scupper our strawberry picking plans, may try and go later this afternoon if it dries up. Garden looks a lot greener though.

DH came home with wine, I had a glass and didn't even enjoy it so i am going to remain firm from now on. Wine only on a Friday! I now also owe him £6!

Well done on the wine, I wish I had your determination, it might mean I could actually lose a few pounds from the running rather than just offsetting it :)

We tried to claim some PPI a few year about 6 years ago but was declined, keep thinking we should try again now as they seem to be paying out now, but dont have all the account details anymore.

Let me know how you get on.
