Hello,
I have got an american platinum moneyback card, and i was wondering if this is the best amex card to earn some money while spending it?
I was wondering if one gets more value as air miles as compared to cash back? browsing through the posts it seems that all the guys and gals have opted for cash.

Amex does the BA airmile card

and it states that i can collect 1 BA mile for virtually every 1 pound spent. Is this BA mile more value than 1p?0 -

Hi Folks,
Just received my Amex Platinum card and see in the T&Cs that they review and can increase your limit every three months, subject to prompt payments.
Does anyone know how much they would increase a credit limit by every three months?
Thanks in advance.0 -
I am very pleased with the service provided so far...ok...I only applied online last friday..yesterday I received a phone call saying that they had set me a limit of £4600 but she was checking what I would use the card for and increased it to £5500!!!...they were very curteous..today I received the card..and am now waiting for the pin...
I set up the DD to pay in full with the lady yesterday..she gave me a choice of dates also.I activated the card today on the phone and later needed to phone them up to ask a queation..it was an english call centre...at all times they have seemed professional.
Dr I am self employed and they didn't question anything..your mortgage doing 3 searches maybe the key.0 -
Don't forget to apply for your amex platinum Card thro' Quidco website for another £40 cashback!!! Just done it, will see if it works!!0

just received my new platinum card giving me 5% cashback for the first three months. be aware that the money accrued is not payable back to you for another twelve months!!!! i assume that if you amass the cashback over the three months and ditch the card, you'll lose the cash. i feel cheated.0

£40 cashback is for the platinum charge card, isnt it? People are talking about amex's cashback credit card...0 -

I applied a amex red card a year ago through quidco and it still hasnt been tracked. I've sent them tickets and emails but got nothing back from them. :mad:0 -
Mine hs tracked and validated on quidco for £33.75 two days before receiving the card...up to that point though nothing appeared but it does say for successful applications....so if you have your card already then I would raise an enquiry with Quidco.0
