Ah ok, it is not as strong signal as the Thomson :mad:, even though you have a Netgear dongle. I thought you had a new router .
It looks like you are going to either use ethernet cable to run upstairs cheapest option, or Homeplug . It seems to me that they cannot work together wirelessly.
