    OK try getting onto the router from ie/firefox http://192.168. etc

    Is this still the thomson?

    This is the Thomson.....it gives a default of 192.168.1.254
    I used that at the weekend but cant access it as dont know the username nor password

    the other router is a Netgear

    netgear defaults are:-

    ip address 192.168.0.1

    user admin

    password password

    Thomson routers also have a Super User logon, can't remember it off the top of my head, but if you google it.......

    I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

    Thanks Gunjack, I can't find the defaults in the thomson manual either any ideas anyone . Merman try admin / password or admin / (no password)

    This gets me to a screen asking for username and password

    Cant get past that page

    Seems like only way to go then is to reset the router, pencil in the reset hole in the back. Unless the user/pass are yours from Plusnet
