    I am so chuffed!
Called T Mobile and said that Tesco were doing a deal for £10 and asked if I could get free Internet.
Currently on contract for £13.50 300 Minutes unlimited texts and now thanks to YOU guys free internet.:j:D:j:D Well sorted!

I already get 500 mins, unlimited texts & free internet but for £15 a month.
Did they give you more minutes or reduce your monthly payments?

I phoned Virgin this morning and told them about the deal Tesco are doing, their response was 'We can offer you 600 minutes, unlimited texts+data for the same £10 rolling contract'... Yes please!

I believe the lady said it was a £20 contract but with a £10 credit every month to net off to £10.

Just got off the phone from Virgin, asked if they would price match, best they'd come up with was £13 a month. As I've got £10 and £15 a month Sim only deals with them I asked how much notice they needed to cancel, she said she could do it now.
So it's off to Tesco to find out more about their deal.
    Winner winner, Chicken dinner.

You're right, but for £10 a month it's a lot better deal than Virgins 300 minutes and 300 texts.

  • Just got off of the phone with vodafone having requested and got a pac code and secured a £10 per month deal with 600 minutes! Have just finished an 18 month contract on 600 mins for £15 per month and wanted a £10 per month deal. Vodafone every time I called were totally not interested and only offered 300 minutes at which point having seen the tesco deal via the thread I decided to leave Vodafone and requested a PAC code which they gave us. A few days later we have just had a call and Vodafone have matched the deal with more minutes - only snag is 12 month contract rather than tesco 1 month deal but that suits us and a happy compromise for the extra 100 mins.
Hopefully someone else can get a good deal - the answer is the PAC code request (as suggested on other threads).
  • Signed my husband up for this yesterday - thank you for the post!

Saved ourselves £10 a month as was on Virgin 450 mins / 450 texts :money:

Thanks OP. I was on the Virgin 300+300 & 30p/day internet for £10/month. I called Virgin to see if they could match it. First person said no so I asked for my PAC code.

Got put through to retentions and was offered either 500 + unlimited texts and web for £10 or 300 plus unlimited texts/web for £8. Both with free calls to Viirgin mobiles. I chose the latter as I never get near my existing 300 minutes and the only other costs are using the phone to download traffic data to my Tomtom.

So, saved £2 month plus all my data use, previously 30p per day:D
The force is strong in this one!

If I were you I'd just go the shop & try what can you lose.
You're not going on a 12/24 month contract so I think you'll be okay.
Let us know how you get on.
