It's like any other SIM only deal and has internet in the bundle, so if your iPhone 3GS is unlocked it should work.

I've just been in to tesco now and got this deal for my Iphone 3GS .. no additional charges.

500 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited data (which is 500mb on our iphones)

I'm really pleased as I can cancel whenever i like. Make sure when you set it up that you choose a payment date that won't lose you any days.

E.g. My regular payment date could either be the 1st, 8th or 15th. But considering it's the 7th today .. I'll get an extra 8 days free by choosing the 15th

good deal. Rang vodafone to see if they'd include internet for free to match Tesco's deal. Guess what! They didn't! It will cost an extra £5 a month. Unfortunately with vodafone until December 2011, sob!

Just been and signed my 2 children up on Tesco's other deal

No Contract - 100 minutes, UNLIMITED texts £6 a month

Perfect for our kids who are text machines and get through their £10 per month Pay As You Go inside a fortnight if allowed

However, talking to the guy in the phone Shop at Tesco Solihull he confirms that "Deal 1" 500 mins, Unlimited texts, Unlimited internet is on offer until 10th October 2010 Texts have a 3,000 fair limit usage, and internet has fair usage restriction of 1GB.

Sorry if this has been mentioned earlier, but I've not read all the pages,

I wanted the £6 per month deal, but as I have an iphone i need the internet.

I signed up to the 500 min one you're on about, which is the same , on until the 10th ... but he told me i only have 500mb .. maybe he just told me wrong.. I will have to find out

... EDIT : just read my contract t&c's and it says 500mb restriction

Kattybunny do you get all the features of a specific iphone tariff? I'm thinking about signing up for this but have heard that you cant download your voicemails etc and some of the other features of the iphone wont work unless you have a specific iphone tariff from one of the networks.....

My t&c's state:

"Iphone visual voicemail and conference calling functionality are not available on Tesco Mobile Network"

Everything else seems fine to me, because i only use normal voicemail

I'm currently a Tesco PAYG customer - if I changed to this sim only deal would I be able to keep my existing Tesco number?
