Hi this sounds really good deal...was wondering....what the coverage tends to b like? just thinking not much point changing to find can't get signal ...also would u b able to keep ur old number? TIA

Tesco piggybacks on O2 so coverage for calls and texts is good but not so good for 3G phones .

Buy your Tesco sim , install in your phone then ring them up and ask to port your number over from O2 to Tesco, takes 2 or 3 days and you will probably have a couple of hours outage while they change the number over.

Thanks so much, mobby - I have just been over to Tesco Hamilton Leicester phone shop to organise this deal, it is just what I am looking for. The girl in the Phone Shop was really, really helpful.

I phoned the above number, got through in less than a minute...spoke to a nice bloke talked about the deal not being on the tesco mobile website, no problem..took my details and sim should be here between 3 - 5 days
