If you ring Tesco mobile I think they'll put a limit on or let you know when you've reached whatever amount you say.
I know you did ask instore but under par did say she did it by phone.

Just rang up, DD was on the £10 month with 3 months free internet, now got more mins & free internet (500mb fair usage):T I'll be best mummy ever.

I'm thinking of doing this for my daughter (her contract ends in Nov). We were going to get her a new phone for Christmas and put her on sim only. I have read on here that the tesco sim fits in 02 phones, is this true because the lad in the tesco shop said absolutely not. Also she is after a blackberry and he said they are getting them in on tesco network before christmas but the girl in carphone warehouse said that the blackberry internet will not work on sim only on any network only contract, is this true?

Rang up and I can get it over the phone as there's no tesco with mobile near me I'm currently paying £20 with t-mobile for the same thing(okay, my fair usage texts is actually 1,000,000 with t-mobile! But I haven't gone over 3000 in months) so I'm very pleased! Would be good for the boyfriend too but we need his orange wednesdays!

stejobeth, it depends where you got the phone. If you bought the phone payg it should, in theory, work with any sim. If not, you might have to get it unlocked but that's fairly cheap and harmless.

i have a contract o2 that i have had for 18 months and went to tesco today and the sales asistant put a tesco sim in and it worked fine. thinking of going to this deal as well. HTH

Thanks for that. My brother in law is on o2 and said we could have his old iphone for her to use until christmas because I didn't really want to have to buy a new phone before then.
