Happy happy happy!
Home from work, staff meeting was a touch blah, apparently there's going to be no pay rise this year, but tbh the company has shed staff elsewhere on the site while we'd maintained staffing levels (inc replacing the old supervisor with me), but got home to a very lovely letter from HMRC, offering to give me back just over £500 as a tax rebate.
Will use that to take a chunk off my credit card when I get the cheque. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just realised I've added £10 to my account total on onepoll so less than £10 to cash out, at this rate I might be claiming the money before the end of the year which will be nice. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I have in my grubby little mitts a cheque from HMRC for a shade over £500....I best get myself off to the bank tomorrow and then get it paid off my credit card. It'll reduce the length of time it'll take me to clear it by almost a year at the current rate.
Edit because I just had a play with the snowballer.
I just paid off £100 from the balance of my card £90 of that was added last month in assorted mystery shops. That alone has knocked my time before it's repaid in full from 44 months to 41 months, and depending on the day the £500 gets credited that'll knock it down to 25 or 26 months. All of a sudden it feels like I might be able to pay the thing off....then again if the boy and I are going to move in together next year I can see it running up again on household stuff, but in an attempt to avoid some of that - even if only small amounts I'm off to do as many toluna quick polls as my brain can cope with before I go to bed. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well the cheque is in the bank, should be showing as 'spending' pennies by the end of the week, so will get it moved on to the credit card around then too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

My bank account looks lovely at the moment....roll on the day when it looks like this all the time! I can pay the £500 to my credit card on monday, which means it should come off the balance on wednesday(ish). Will check on whatsthecost when it's showing exactly how many months it just took off the time it'll take to repay. In the mean time I spent £72.95 on it but will pay that off this week too, when the ms company confirm my report - it'll eat up most of my current float money but I'd much rather have it coming off the cc than sitting in a bank account which is earning pennies or less in interest each month.
Ordered myself a kindle yesterday too, cost me a whole £5 in actual cash as the rest was covered by saved amazon gift vouchers, I opted for next day delivery so it should be with me by lunchtime - I'm quite excited, the boy is away all weekend so I'll have hours of uninterrupted reading to look forward to when its set up.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

:heart2::heartpuls I luurrve my kindle! I think I've spent virtually all day sat reading it when I've not been up and around, the screen is a good size and its comfy to hold - albeit quite odd feeling when I'm used to a book - and the e-ink (or is that the Sony copyright?) really is very easy on the eye while reading.
Thank god the boy isn't around this weekend it means I get to watch all the rubbish telly he usually moans about X-Factor, Strictly and read on the Kindle - any chance we can get him sent away to work next weekend too? It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

HMRC money is in transit to the credit card, and tomorrow I shall be sending the slightly larger than usual MS payment (the refund will arrive for the item sent back in a couple of weeks so my ms float will be depleted until then).
Got myself a lovely day off with absolutely nothing to do today. Woke up this morning snuggled up to the boy which was lovely apart from the fact I was woken up 5.30am but his alarm going off so he could start getting ready for work. Ended up dropping him off at work then popping in to my work place for a nice strong coffee before I came home - I guess technically that was my first ever 'walk of shame' off camp since we're not meant to stay over night during the week. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Spent the day doing absolutely nothing except my washing, had no mystery shops booked and didn't manage to pick up any last minute ones like last week which was a pity. But on the other hand I've ploughed through god knows how many toluna quick polls and one complete survey adding nearly 8k points to my balance leaving a little over 10k points to get before I can request £15 of gift vouchers - all the current ones are earmarked for use towards household things next year which is unutterably boring much like the surveys themselves....
Still waiting for the refund crediting to my card for a top I returned to New Look on Saturday, need to keep an eye out for that getting back in to my account, then it too can be thrown at my credit card since I had budgeted for the top but then really didn't like it on, so as the money's accounted for I figure I'll still not miss it if I take it off the balance. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Feel like I'm suddenly racing towards a payout from Toluna, under 2k points to get before I can claim £15 of vouchers. Now I have my Kindle it's back to getting vouchers for high st shops in an attempt to minimise the costs of moving in with my oh next year.
All of a sudden there are dates being set for events in January - like the day the boy has to go on a work course which will last nearly 6 weeks - he'll be home at weekends luckily as at the end of those 6 weeks is when the lease runs out on the property he shares with his brother....so that'll be around the time we need to be moving in to 'our' home! Very scary...and horribly horribly grown up!!It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Toluna vouchers requested - now for the long wait for them to arrive, expected around January!
The whole 'scary future' thing is still weighing on my mind a little, mainly with the thoughts of when on earth did I manage to turn in to the kind of girl who lives with her bloke hundreds of miles from her family and knowing that she might have to drop everything to move to some other far flung part of the UK because his employer says so......It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
