• I must be mad, picked up a nano aquarium from a lovely person via freegle this afternoon. I used to love fishkeeping and when I moved was gutted at having to get rid of the three set up's I had at home - although none had actual fish in them they were all in a state of just add water, wait and add fish. Been doing some googling the size and make of tank I have and alot of people use the model for nano reef set ups....something I always wanted to do at home but could never justify the expense of changing my 'current' set ups over and when I could justify the expense I didnt have the time to do it justice before I moved.

Currently it is sitting on my chest of drawers looking horribly black and empty, it needs a good cleaning out and disinfecting before I even think about putting fish in it but I'm back to the bad old days of browsing fishkeepers forums and day dreaming about what I could do with the empty glass box.

Well am away from my room this weekend, am staying with the boy in his accomodation, it's lovely to be able to do semi normal coupley things - like wake up thump him and demand a brew before I'll kiss him then argue about who should get out of bed to make said brews (him, because its his accomodation, and I can't really walk around it semi naked given he shares the kitchen with 6 blokes I don't know).

Lounged in bed til lunch time watching assorted rubbish tv then went in to town so he could buy a camping gas cooker thing, and a 'quick' trip to tesco for a vacuum for his room. While there we managed to spend almost £70, my portion of the spend included an airer, a multipack of supernoodles, a can of dry shampoo and one of the two tubs of hot choc which were on offer as a bogof.

Working it out I spent £21, his boyship was handed a £10 giftcard I had in my purse and a £9 off £60 spend voucher - being generous I split that so I owe him about £4.50

Well we once again disagreed about who should 'cook' dinner and make the brews all evening... I put the lasagne in the microwave and put the kettle on then left him to finish it all off. See fair division of tasks ish.

Had a lovely morning, again lounging in bed until near lunchtime while disagreeing about who should brew up, then in to the town up the road for two mystery shops which included lunch, so thats me fed until silly am when I want munchies so have a over large bowl of cereal.

Just need to write the shops up now, meh, thats the not so fun part. Still thinking positively about payday for them in October.

Spent a very unproductive couple of hours job hunting, four new ones to apply for on various websites, three I wanted to apply for via the job centre one of which has a link which doesnt exist, one has an email address missing the actual name of the person to apply to (ie please email xxxx@companyname/co.uk) and a third which I have to go to the job centre to get details for - which in itself is a pita.

Trip to the job centre was worse than useless, I went armed with the references for the three jobs I was wanting details of, to be told that one they can't give me details for because I'm not long term unemployed - so why the flip have it listed on the website?, the one with the duff email - they have no idea who the contact name is either and the one with the broken link they just thanked me for bringing to their attention but there's no other details they can give me. Gah, who needs to work anyway!

Still one mystery shop done while I was in town so thats one meal I don't need to cook at home today, just need more milk as mine has been consumed by the family while I was away for the weekend and they have virtually none left in the giant bottle in the fridge.

• Back from yet another scintillating night at the bar. God the excitement of my job is going to kill me soon.....

Still I had an interesting day, had an early evening mystery shop in another town, which thankfully is also home to the nearest branch of my main bank. So I decided to take with me the bags of change I found while I was packing to move and the cheque I got for selling a phone for recycling. Got to the counter and unloaded the change and cheque from my bag and realised I'd left my bank card in my other handbag at the house. Thank god the lovely counter lady was able to find my accounts from the randomly remembered sort code and my name alongside my drivers licence for ID (seriously ID to pay money in to my own accounts). Course I then got outside the mystery shop location and found out that my credit card was at home too so I still had to drive back to the house for a card so I could do the shop. Meh, far too much fuel wasted there but at least the money is in the bank and the mystery shopping money will be paid next month.

Tomorrows to do list

Call the bloke about the household internet
Call the lady about the job interview on Thursday
Call the lady who left me a message today about a temp job
Do a mystery shop on the way to work (even more excitement, more junk food before a thrilling night at the bar)
Tidy up, my room seems to be a permanent mess.
Sweep the floor once tidied
Sort packaging for the ebay item(s) which end tomorrow afternoon
Relist anything unsold
List some of the little bits I have lying around at 99p starts
Once on the household wireless 'net lots and lots of surveys and daily clicks as they've been neglected lately

Quick trawl of the 'usual suspects' survey sites pulled up a survey on lightspeed which got me over the redemption threshold to get some money sent to paypal, so £3 whole pounds on the way, I plan to transfer some money out of paypal by the end of the week when my ebay items are paid for and posted so hopefully that'll be a nice little boost to that. And if I'm sensible I'll use that as money towards paying off the overdraft, or on my food shopping - the landlady commented in passing earlier that she was surprised I never have any food in - my fridge space currently contains a tub of spread, and two yoghurts which are nearing their expiry date, and until this morning a pot of pasta sauce which was several weeks out of date.

Getting there, really need the internet bloke to call me back though as he said he would call within the hour, that was 3 hours ago now.

Sorted, he called as I was posting so I am now in possession of the household wireless access.

And another change of plans. Just had a phone call and been offered a v enhanced fee for a junk food shop in a town I've not visited yet, worth the hassle though as it's just as far from work as the originally planned shop was, and the orginially planned one I can reschedule for next week. All being well it's shaping up to be a very nice pay day next month with this company.

Lucrative shop done and written up, I can see why noone wanted to do it though, the traffic was evil in and out of town and it was almost impossible to find a parking space within a mile of the store, and was almost late for work despite leaving the location almost 45 mins before I was due to start when it was meant to be a 15 minute drive - managed to get logged in to the site 3 mins before I was due to start work and signed for the keys on the dot.

Also got my day tomorrow planned out, two shops in the morning, one town centre, one on the main road out of town, job interview at noon - another one I have to get signed in to the site so will have to be there at least 20 mins early, then two food jobs on my way to work - luckily both are on the way to work and as long as I'm at the first on the dot of the start of the period it's to be done in I'll have plenty of time for that, the short drive to the next and then the next before going to work.

Admittedly though I'll be arriving at work feeling fat, bloated and horrendously greasy but am going to be very much focussed on the ultimate aim of having the money magic itself in to my bank account in 4 weeks time.

Planned spends for tomorrow other than the mystery shops are the postage of an ebay item sold and paid for this evening. I do like prompt paying customers, they make the whole experience so much easier! Pity the other two items didn't sell but they didn't cost me anything originally so its no hassle holding on to them for the next FLD to try again.
