Home again, it's lovely when I get to stay the night with the boy, but for now its just as nice to get back in to my own space too. Was talked in to having a McDonalds meal for lunch so a spend today of £3.99.

Tomorrow I've a couple of shops to get done, one at lunchtime the other I plan to do in the morning, as it requires getting the train there and back - I could drive but the train is cheaper as a return is only about £4 (with my railcard) and I'd easily spend that on fuel and parking if I was to drive.

So far a fair few, its nice not being stuck with the rotation limits at the moment although at the moment I'm looking at work in town or the villages around where I'm living, next month I think I'll have to start looking further afield if I don't find any day work.

Realised that I desperately need to buy some more coat hangers, spotted some decent looking packs of three for 99p in a strange little shop in town yesterday but had no money with me so will have to go back and get some so i can actually hang clothes up this week and maybe just maybe get my suitcases stored on top of my wardrobe rather than the middle of the floor. :A

Todays plans were destroyed by a lack of trains so I'm snuggled up on the sofa with a giant jumper (got rained on walking back from the train station) while I do washing in the hope that my work things will be dry by this evening. Not likely so I've also ironed my slightly too big black trousers and dug out a black top which I'm hoping will pass for smart. Should really go have a shower and start drying my hair but I simply can't be bothered right now.

    Hi,

Good luck with your diary! Dead jealous that you're at home snuggled up on the sofa, I can't remember the last time I could do that!!!

Hi kavics, before I moved I can't remember the last time either, its weird, living with my dad felt more like I was living in a bedsit than lodging here where I could call my room a bedsit with shared bathroom and kitchen, lol. Still I'm snuggled up looking for day work or I'll never get any money saved towards getting a place with the boy next year - he earns a pretty good salary and claims we can live on his salary and my current hours but I don't want to live off him, the idea makes me hugely uncomfortable so two jobs it needs to be for the time being, just need to find job number two yet.

ETA Just broken the £20 mark with onepoll, only another £20 to earn before I can cash out again, fingers crossed it doesnt take too long!

Home from a very hectic night at work, busiest night yet takings wise, all I suspect thanks to the football, and then the 15 guys who wanted to stay after the football to watch This Is England, 86 - I'm just glad they kept drinking enough to make it worth while staying open til 11. And to give me the wise advice of don't have kids, don't get married, don't stay here too long its a horrid horrid place. On the latter I shall take their advice and not stay beyond my working hours.

    Todays spends

£3.55 - return train ticket - this will be reimbursed by a mystery shopping company though as travel expenses
£0.19 on food for a mystery shop, the meal did cost a little more but all but that 19p will be reimbursed.
£1.99 on food, another mystery shop, again this is only the part of the cost not to be reimbursed.

Though it has to be said that the fee's for both the food shops do cover the slight over spend on the meals, and the second I have enough left over to microwave for dinner tomorrow evening too.

Hmm is it weird to be excited about having the boy come round later in the week for me to cook him dinner, with the food has left over from his dinner today....probably, but it involves fresh food which is something fairly rare for me at the moment and is not junk food which is thanks to mystery shopping this month a major part of my diet. Plus he as yet hasn't been to the house I now live in, he's picked me up from outside but never so much as left his car.

All being well I should get my first pay from work this week, so I can risk visiting mr t for fresh food but as I discovered the other night going in after work means I buy junk food so a trip at some point during the day it shall have to be, with a nice list of things I need rather than my usual scattered approach of I fancy this then getting home and spending hours googling what to cook it with, or just eating it as a snack on its own.

Meh, went out yesterday morning to do three quick mystery shops, and ended up getting home at 6pm, quick change and back out to work, then the bloomin dongle wasn't playing so I couldnt get my shops written up. Just about finished them off today, and am awaiting the boy coming round with food to make dinner with before I go back to work tonight. So glad I penciled a day off in to my mystery shopping schedule!

On the upside all being well I should be getting paid for my first couple of weeks at work tomorrow, as well as getting paid by one of the mystery shopping companies, although that will hit the bank middle of next week it'll still be a relief to have some spare cash in the bank, lucky as the fuel light came on while I was driving to work last night, planning to put £10 of fuel in on my way home tonight as the refund from the mystery shop I did a couple of days ago is back to being spendable pennies in the bank.

Not that it'll stay there long, as my credit card co emailed today to tell me they're putting my interest rate up from 7.9% to 12.9%, so its time to start making a bigger effort to clear that off. Whatsthecost, informs me that at my current set payment of £45 I have another 41 months before it's cleared, which clearly is not acceptable. So once I've been paid I shall set to work using it for mystery shopping again, making sure I pay off the spends as soon as I can from the ms account. Once I get paid the outstanding money I'm expecting this month I'll have a nice float to use for this. I think that if I do manage to get myself some temp work that at least 50% of anything I earn there is going to get thrown at the credit card as soon as my overdraft is paid off and closed - must chase up the temp agencies more though to make sure they know I'm here and willing to work.

Must get off backside and go do something.....

Felt ill when I got up this morning so rescheduled two mystery shops, but I still have to get four done this afternoon, which isnt going to happen while I'm on the sofa. Meh, at least the jobs I have today will result in a nice pay day when it happens.

It also appears that there may be a free listing weekend on ebay this week which will be a nice chance to get some of the accumulated junk sold on to people who can use it.
