Three shops complete, one to go, on the way to work.

Bloomin dongle is a nightmare, and I can't get on to the sites to write them up, so will have to have another go after work tonight. Roll on when I can get connected to the wireless broadband in the house!

Interesting discovery, we have free wifi in the bar. So I have just written up two of my five outstanding mystery shops and am cracking on with a third - the wifi is slow on some sites but its far better than wasting my dongle allowance on uploading images.

Spent much of this morning organising stuff I can ebay - it's strange I still seem to have lot of stuff I can attempt to sell despite having moved and left the vast majority of my possessions at my dads house, hey ho anything that goes is at least gone.

Popped down to the shop to get milk, dinner and something to munch on at work.

I managed the munchies - big bag of grapes, and I managed the lunch, couple of cheese and bacon slices but failed on the milk, need to remember to get some on the way to work later. But its a spend of £4.11 for today and £20 in petrol.

Another early finish at work, got myself home and finished off a couple more ebay listings before the end of flw, and just added a couple of 99p start auctions - things I don't expect to sell for any more than that so not worth a punt on a higher start price.

Got home from work last night and just went to sleep, woke up this morning having picked up a cold, feel like I'm swallowing razor blades and have a constantly running nose which is as you can imagine soooo much fun.

Still large bowl of tomato soup for lunch and am off to do a sandwich mystery shop on my way to work so will at least have some fresh food today!

  • Another fun filled night at work...or not. Had a handful of customers in watching the football, and the 'usual crowd' who have taken to buying their beer at the bar next door and coming in to mine for a chat and to watch the footie - can't stop them due to the rules of the site, and to be honest I like the guys so it's someone to talk to, pity one of them has decided that he wants to flirt with me every single time I speak to him - its a complete pain.

I stopped by the other bar for a drink after i finished up last night and he was being too tactile for my liking, and thanks to being slightly tipsy managed to completely miss all references to the boy be it his name, references to him as 'the boy', 'my pet human', or 'the other half'. Meh, he apologised tonight at least, but I suspect mainly because one of the guys is a friend of the boy from when he was working elsewhere too and I'd had to ask him to walk out to the car with me because the tactile guy was heading the same way back to his accomodation at the same time, I hate that.

Far too many spends today or at least thats how it feels.

£40 something (need to check receipt) for fuel
£5.47 for a coffee and sandwich while I was in Windsor meeting a friend
£1.21 on milk and a loaf of bread on my way home from work - but this came from my 'sealed pot' change so can pretty much be ignored as it wasnt 'my' money to start with.

Went over to Windsor to see a friend who is over visiting her partner who is posted there at the moment, spent a lovely couple of hours mooching round the town/city centre with her and her daughter and a fab 45 mins on the kiddies play area round the corner from the Barracks. I'd forgotten how much fun swings, seesaws and slides can be, and although I'm possibly the last person you would ever consider to be child friendly I had a ball playing with her 1 year old daughter. Must remember to wash my jacket though, got grass stains on it from falling off the bottom of the kiddie slide.

Work was the usual joyous fun, a little busier than normal thanks to a quiz night but not exactly hopping. Still I've sent a CV off for another job locally which if I'm lucky could fit around the first one but applications for it don't close until the 24th, so I suspect I won't hear anything for at least another week.

Slept surprisingly well last night given the horrendous hour I was posting on here at, and was up bright and early (for me) to do a mystery shop and go pick up a small fish tank I was offered on freegle, said tank is now on the front seat of my car until I've seen the landlady to ask permission to set it up. Meanwhile I have a load of washing in and once that's done I've another mystery shop to go get done and a phone call to the tech support guy for the house network so I can finally get online using the wireless rather than my mobile broadband on the incredibly slow dongle.

Spends so far £4.79 but will be reimbursed in full.

Shop number 2 done, and back to sitting on the sofa next to the airer full of damp clothes, having realised that I don't have any more coat hangers so once this lot is dry prob by Saturday, I'll have no where to put it away. !!!!!!, need to transfer some more cash to my spends account to cover more coat hangers and my own airer so I can put this one back down stairs for my landlady. Robert Dyas seems to be the cheapest place I've seen things so far, £10 for 20 wooden hangers and £10 for an airer or ironing tidy (might get both as it gives me just a bit more space to hang things to dry over winter).
