And last nights post was brought to you by pink wine drunk straight from the bottle and half a Battenburg cake.....

Yes I felt rather ill this morning, not least because I woke up with the other half of the cake on my pillow and all I could smell was the marzipan!

Still I've had a lovely productive day....not, I've done some washing and pottered around doing a bit of tidying but little else, unless playing farm and frontierville counts?

    Hi chev,

I do tend to think I and anyone else who chooses to try to make their life with a mil person must be in need of some fairly specific mental health care, if anyone can find the practitioner who can help let me know, lol.

That said I'm not sure the marizpan is the worst thing about the whole situation. :rotfl: that would be the stinking creature that comes back after a few days away and its mucky clothes.

Getting quite pee'd off now, been trying to open my hotmail for the last 25 mins, and still just getting a loading page, gah.

Eventually got hotmail working this evening after work, and have worked my way through all the assorted dross which had accumulated in there - mainly surveys, so have worked myself a few more pennies towards payout levels. Sometimes it feels like such hard work for so little reward, yet others it feels like the survey co's are practically giving money away...meh lets just hope that there are plenty in my new demographic group next year.

A very pleasant lazy day today, couple of hours out of the house when I popped up the train line to do a couple of mystery shops, which I'm now working up the enthusiasm to write up before I wander down to the local CoOp to see if there's anything interesting on the reduced shelf for tea, or I'll be having porridge and crisps coz I really cant be bothered to go and do any proper shopping.

Couldn't be bothered to go to the shop so porridge and crisps it was, god my diet is sooo unhealthy its actually quite scary.

Today I have mostly done nothing outside of work, over slept this morning so didn't get online to see if there were any surveys to boost my onepoll earnings (up to £34 now, I'm cautiously hopeful I can cash out this year), nor toluna ones.

Still I've come home from work and found that I've been paid by one of my ms companies so fiddled around with my online banking and dispatched another £120 in to the black hole which is my credit card. And am now looking at having it fully paid off my March 2013, and have reduced the interest due next month by one whole pound. And my 'ms float' is looking quite healthy for the first time in months post credit card payments.

I also got to experience the simple pleasure of picking up my payslip at work this afternoon, we don't get paid until the 1st of the month but at least I have the bit of paper which tells me they plan to pay me and how much so I can organise next months budget (mainly worked out on how many mondays there are before Jan 1st....).

Have volunteered for a few extra hours before my usual shift one day this week and have emailed to offer to do a shift elsewhere in a couple of weeks, so hopefully some lovely extra money will be finding its way in to my paypacket in the New Year. In the meantime in an attempt to pretend to have a healthier diet I brought some fruit home from work (we won't talk about the choc bars....).

Urgh 3 days before payday and my bank account looks scarily depleted might need to temporarily move some pennies from my ms float to avoid going over my o/d limit....

Right extra shift elsewhere confirmed and an offer of another shift at the same location but different division as my main job, would love to have said yes to it immediately but need to check my rota...I'm 90% certain I can do it.

Couldn't take the extra shift on site but still have the one elsewhere to enjoy (or possibly endure) next weekend as well as having survived the 11 hour shift in the main job.

Shifted as few pennies from my salary account as I thought I could justify, post dd's leaving my account it looks like I may have transferred far too little but I've not yet taken in to account any mystery shops I have booked which will cover food for at least a couple of days and the fact that there is alot of food 'waste' at work just now as we're trying to run freshish stocks down before the holidays - not to mention the pot noodles I stocked up on while they were on offer and have kept in my locker...
