hehe thanks! I am really looking forward to today and seeing how many meals i can make from the 1 chicken.
Roast dinner, Risotto and Soup are planned at the moment.

I've got the spare dough from yesterday out ready to make 2 pizzas for our lunches tomorrow.

I'd like to go on a forage and see if i can find some fruits to make some form of dessert tonight, we've got an apple tree in the back garden, but not sure if they'll be any good for anything.

Might try my hand at baking some rolls today for lunches next week, I can bake rolls fairly well, but my bread hasn't been so good recently.

I'd like to make OH some snacks for his lunch tomorrow, but we're running out of things, i have no sugar, but have flour, eggs, raisins, baking powder ohhh and brown sugar come to think of it! What could i bake today??

  • lol now you'll ask me for a recipe. I don't have one but there is one on Weezl's site, and I read yesterday on the thread that someone made it in bun cases and got 30 or something like that, so you couple really do the portion control thing with OH if you have those, and feeze some too.

Oh my god, i am in love with Boodle Biscuits. AMAZING, although i replaced the garam masala with cinnamon because garam masla seems to give me a headache!

My right thumb is dying a slow and painfull death...i keep carving chunks off it!

Pizza's are made, i can probably make mine stretch to 2 lunches, but OH's will only last him the one meal.

I've got lots of pasta and rice, so was thinking i could do him pasta salads etc for lunch, but we've not mayonaise so what could i use to make it less dry? He's not a massive fan of tomato based sauces but i think he could suck it up for this week, We've got a jar of pasatta and half a jar of spag sauce to use. I was going to make a rice salad with the kidney beans we've got in the cupboard, but don't really know what elese to put with it!

Going to start my roast at about 2pm so we have an early big meal and then we'll do boiled eggs or something for tea later if we get peckish...OH is STILL in bed so he better be hungry when he surfaces!!

I made cibatta rolls today, which I left in the oven too long and they came out rock hard! LOL. So they have gone for recycling.

Might just stick to cibatta bread, DH likes that.

Boodle biscuits...might have to give it a go....
