No Buying Toiletries In September Challenge!

  • Some UU to report WOOHOO

1 x Gucci Rush 2 50ml lody lotion WIBA I got this as part of a perfume set from my parents when I was 17....6 years ago whoops so I used it all up in one go...surprisingly has kept its fragrance and doesn't smell gone off! So I might buy it again except I haven't worn this fragrance in years, perhaps I should start again after this challenge obviously!

1 x Garnier Spray Aerosol Fake Tan WIBA not unless desperado, I have my favourites and this doesn't compare....1) smells of the horrible fake tan smell 2) doesn't have a guide colour so always unsure about streaks (it doesn't help when it runs out midway through an application :rotfl: ) 3) takes a while to dry!

I have some pending UU which include a Tresemme hair masque, a BS body scrub, a passionfruit body wash/creme bath and the such like!

Have a good weekend ladies x

1 UU, some random shower gel that i was using as bubble bath. it was lilly of the valley flavour. WIBA? - i doubt it. I have learnt lately that I really dont like shower gel all that much - Im glad Im almost at the end of the stash(though using it in place of bubble bath has helped!!) cos i honestly think im going to stick with soap in future.(when Ive got shot of the rest of the stash!!)

one almost UU - and I may yet put it on my feet tonight to get rid of the rest, the new Olay (the one with mint). It arrived today in the post (trial sample) and i tried it, but I really dont like the way it feels - somehow my skin feels really tight and horrible with it.

  • Sorry girls - two INS to report here :-(

Soltan SPF50 sun cream - £1.75 at the Boots clearance store (also bought 2 x Extracts body butter sets but they were to put aside for Xmas pressies so don't count) and a L'Oreal gentle eye makeup remover as I'm two thirds of the way down my current one.

  • WOW. HAve only just registered on the forum this morning. This thread is a wonderful idea. I wish I'd seen it on 1st Sept! I shall try and do it for month of Oct (does that mean I can spend money on toiletries all this week....?:j).
I have tonnes of stuff and you've now inspired me to sort it through and list what I've got and categorise it. And actually use it. Thanks very much.

I shall browse through this thread and see what you all have to say:T

2 more ins - I have to be better in October. They were freebies though. A vosene shampoo and a mini Britney perfume came in the post today.

Good luck with those final UUs!!

  • i have finished 2 boxes of cotton buds WIBA ohh yes i am so lost when I don't have any to hand!

One new in i'm afraid...a bronzing gel to test for a trial company - on the plus side its a favourite of mine - a full sized BS one :D but still, no money spent on it!x
  • Hi I have UU Palmolive Deoderant "eden" (its the purple one). WIBA - No probably not. When I spray it on in the house, it tends to set off my smoke alarms??!!!

That can't be good and im spraying this stuff on my skin!!!. To use it up I had to open my windows really wide so that the excess fragrance is diluted by the breeze.:o

The things we have to do eh?

At least my alarms are in good working order!!;)

One out to record, I gave the boy one of the trial size tubes of toothpaste to take with him on exersize next week. No other In's or UU's though.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Need to report a "I'm throwing you away cos I really don't like you" moment. I've been using a nutmeg and vanilla body scrub from BS, and it is REALLY annoying me! It doesn't scrub well and I'm constantly covered in bits of vanilla pod, so in the bin it goes!

UU Vaseline Aloe Fresh deoderant - WIBA - maybe if on offer. It was ok.

A couple brewing so will try to concentrate on them to get rid before the 30th!!
