:mad: to a horrible day at work!
:j:j to getting through it without spending, so number 4 for me today please Spoon! (bought a pint of milk for work, but as i claim that back on expenses i'm not counting it)
Even bigger :j:j to the fact that my response to a crisis is not to comfort spend anymore, but to get my SOA out & have a look where i can shave extra costs off "just incase"
(although maybe a little
to the fact this might be a slight over reaction!!) February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Been away at a college inducuction for a few days, expenses paid by my boss, so the last 3 days have all been NSD taking me up to 6!

Am way way behind with the thread again, and with 15 hours of studying a week for the next 2 years to do (on top of a full time job + overtime, and looking after DH/pets/horses) my days of browsing forums may be over! I'll try and keep up with this and the grocery challenge, but no way I can post regularly
If you see me on here for more than 10 minutes give me a slap and tell me to get on with my assignments!! xxxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Evening all, I am declaring NSD #5 - whoooo!!! did have to buy some bread and an onion (wild!) in Mr T but that was from the change pot.
I do have a list of some things I need to buy tomorrow (I need petrol tomorrow so tieing everything in together). Found a bargain today (for a purchase tomorrow) of 4kg dishwasher salt in the 99p shop for..well 99p so I'll be in there tomorrow. I had to check with one of the girls at work that it was a legit brand but apparently its German.
I need to update my spend diary to see whether or not this NSD challenge is reducing any of my spending yet - though given the glasses and towels I have snuck in so far this month perhaps it's not the best time to be checking....:oFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Clocking up 2 for last week and 2 so far this week. Tried to pay nursery today for dh but they said his name wasn't down on the list and to come back tomorrow - am tempted to wait till they send a bill and hope it never arrives!
Is anyone else watching the post in case they get a letter from HMRC? I am such a pessimist - although my argument is that pessimists get nice surprises where as optimists get nasty shocksMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Yep, I'm watching the post - wonder if I will be affected as I am sure I have had some changes (such as starting my pension) during the period but we'll see...a rebate would be nice ...;)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
