Good morning everyone,

up early today to put birthday banners and balloons up for OH.
I do love a balloon!!:rotfl:
Should be a NSD today despite going for lunch, I tend to follow the same rules as Big Mumma; the money for the lunch was earmarked on a spendy day, so providing I dont buy anything else today it will be a NSD.

Was at M&D's yesterday and got a lovely surprise from my Mum - its a case containing all sizes of knitting needles, plus stitch holders, a row counter and lots of knitting bits. It had been handed into the church for their sale, so my Mum put in a donation and nabbed it! Its brand new! As you know Im a fledgling knitter, so I was delighted!
Then my Dad trumped that by giving me a pile of books that he'd stashed away, some brand new, so that will keep me going over the winter! Also my Mum had done some traybakes so I left with a box of that too! Result!!!:D

PDD - you could have come to me for a coffee yesterday - Im on the East of Edinburgh, near Portobello beach, sorry you had such a carp day!

Not doing as well as I had hoped but then I am having a bit of a mad month so far. Up to no 3 though so it could be worse. I am off now for my little jolly and then I should be back on track from Tuesday next week. It wont be a no spend day for me today as i am off to get my hair cut and coloured. Not had it done for 6 months so this is a budgeted one. As it isnt groceries though I am counting it as a spend.

I very slow start for me this month - I managed to squeeze out NSD number 3 yesterday though - unfortunately, the bike is running on fumes, so wil need to be topped up today, so today will be another non-NSD! Oh well, plenty of time left this month - good luck everyone collecting NSDs!

thank you Jinty, I do pop over to PB occasionally as I have a client in that area, will let you know the next time I'm there. Lost my NSD there yesterday by stopping off in one of those nice cafe's for soup in the horrible weather! So it was PB's fault!

Yesterday was also a spend day but today will be a NSD taking me back up to 4 i hope but i'll confirm later.

Mr Looloo's gear box has gone - is going to cost us a fortune - really don't need that!!

haha I think Mr Looloo is coping with the fame!!!!! Ithink it might be on iplayer - we watched him here in my office.

Stuck on 1 NSD so far, but big shop at S**nsburys today so hopefully Thursday will be no2.
