Hey chick! I thought i had subscribed and wondered where you had gone :o.

I tried the Avon sensitive skin set with the eye stuff etc and within a couple of days my skin was raw and bleeding . Luckily you can get your money back.

Some of the serums are quite severe so it would def be a good idea to get some advice and testers before spending any money.

    Right I am back

I need to get a shift on.

had a lovely morning - chatting to an old friend it was great to catch up.

  • I am so excited. I can't really say anything in real life cos my friend is going through a living hell at the moment and so being all cheerful would be tactless!

    WE HAVE HOT WATER

and a new boiler - we haven't had hot water since Feb and only occasionally before that.

Its great! I am so pleased. we semi saved and paid the rest with savings.

This opens up so many other things house wise, I can used the same plumber to sort out the sinks (kitchen one smells funky and the bathroom drains v slowly). I will get the fence put up in 1/2 term and then I can sort out the loft and "tidy up" the water tank area (bit weird why would a cold water tank need to be insulated?? surely not frost?)

And I can CLEAN everything without boiling a bloody kettle! :j:j

Money might tight whilst Mum is away I may have to increase the debt which is a shame but to be honest the house must be my priority for the next six weeks. The debt will be 5000 and something next week so its not SO bad. Plus I got another 0 % from Barclays! so I *may* transfer the loan on to that (the PO one didn't have a high enough limit in the end) and set up a big payment from November.

In other news I got 2 compliments at work about my abilities this week and I was asked to help with an application letter - when I sent back the changes she wrote back saying it was so good it made her cry!

I have decided I want to decorate my room while Mum is away! The Guinea pigs and I can sleep down stairs, I can empty my room Saturday(decluttering), paint Sunday, move back slowly during the week, decluttering and organising as I go, no pressure to do it all in one day.

I had better go for my walk and see if I can get to the wood place.

Well done Buffy...hot water must be a luxury after so long.

And yes I do believe insulation is for the not freezing lark...
