Hello folks.
Next on my list is my skin. Its awful and - possibly due to my hair style and clothes the kids think I am much older then I am - which I know is due to a mixture of things but I just feel really OLD. And I DO NOT LIKE IT.
My skin is VERY greasy and I get spots fairly often. I don't wear make up really just face powder. If I could find a shop to go to for a make over I would but I find them so intimidating.
I generally put up with looking awful cos well its only work! but I am tired of looking !!!!.
current regime
1. face wash or Exfoilator (alternate days)
2. Simple face cream(SPF 15)
3. eye cream roll on
4. evening toner(clean and clear + spot cream) no mosituriser.
So ladies any advice?

I would have a word with bunny- she is very good at all things like this. Also she does a mean hair doBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
How about using a tinted moisturiser during the day, boots No7 has a SPF of 15 and goes on lovely and light.
No advice regarding the spots but I would imagine keeping it totally simple is the key, perhaps just the facewash and the moisturiser?
Lots of water too but you know that already:)
I never leave the house without some form of slap on so daytime is the tinted moisturiser and evenings out is the full on warpaint! But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I could do the tinted Moisturiser thing........I think part of it is that I moved my mirror - to the window, looked at myself in brightish day light this morning and thought crap!
I might look at the make up stock before bed.
when is the weekend?

Buffy, i went to my local large Boots and they had a computer which analyised your skin, said how hydrated it was, or how dry. it was free, took about 1/2 hr and i for advise on creams/moisturisers to use and got some samples of them.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

Another vote for the No7 tinted moisturiser. My skin is quite oily so I put it on and then dust lightly with loose powder, or if I need a bit more coverage, I do the same but dust with Vie One Step Face Base.
Your skin has always looked lovely whenever I've seen you though."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Thinks I might need some of the wonder tinted moisteriser stuff....
Buffy your skin has been okay when ive seen you the last 2 times...I think we always think worse about ourselves than is actually true. But definitely get some advice from the bunster, my skin has been so much better since Ive been following her routineI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
