High income but deep deep in debt-any advice?

I've responded all the way through it, which shows you have not read the thread.
He has had advice - he doesn't need your random rubbish comment.
Don't be to tough on him, he is a Daily Mail reader.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Problem is that unless he does what I suggested, he will never act on any of the advice given.
And posting 'Grow a pair' is really going to make him see your side of sense and turn his life around.
I'm out of this discussion - you're as small minded as your daily paper's readership.
I repeat: Grow up.0 -

You must admit that it the strangest SOA, probably 90% of the population would swap places with him/her tomorrow.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. You never know, sometimes people need a blunt wake up call. I would suggest that getting himself into more debt just to please his wife is definately not going to improve matters.0 -
OP you have to take control of your budget
so
I would suggest you remove (from your wife) all ways she is spending money ie close/cut up store cards/credit cards.
Decide on a fixed allowance (for food/clothes etc)
give her THAT amount in cash (which will be less than you're paying now)
Don't think she's going to go though - because she isn't going to find another high earner to keep her in the manner she appears to expect to be kept (she says, tinged green with envy;)) and she MIGHT just start to respect you if you take control - you never know!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I refer to my earlier comment (Which I have been told off for)0
