    Hello all,
Wow look at the time. It's nearly 10! Going to give myself just 15 mins to:
    - empty and reload 'wishdosher'
    - hoover downstairs

It's a windy sunny day here which is calling for me to change the bedding! But not going to do stuff all day. Must find time to chill (what pigpen says goes).
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Less things. Less stuff. More life.

When you have got a week to spare
Book it off, and I'll be there

We'll bask beneath the balmy sun
And in the evening, when it's night
We'll have some fun - to your delight

anyhoo I'm in thanks to FCC *mwah**mwah*
Been giving it some thought have you then ;);) (he might not make it to the bottom of the laundry basket, but he does usually deal with the ironing pile, so he has his uses...)

This is a new relationship kaz... surely we can't need these yet :p:p:p

How come I have three (yes THREE) freezers, but can't find room to put the stuff I cooked yesterday away? I think I'd better do a freezer tidy/inventory this morning, and a meal plan for the next week or so... I have a feeling OH's freezer is fairly full too, as he made veggie lasagne for the kids yesterday and made a spare one and froze it (see, I'm getting him well trained!)

Oh well, back to laundry and baking, with a bit of cleaning thrown in for variety :D

Those of you who have sunshine, make the most of it!

    Morning everyone.

Bright and breezy here. Im just decluttering a cuppa.

Had a bit of bad news late last night. My friends husband was found dead in suspicious circumstances. I got such a shock. Just waiting to hear from her to see when I can go and see her.

Off to do the dailies and going to see mum later.

Hi to the newbies and those that have returned.

    valli I love the poem.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots. Lady L. Diva and LW.
  • Morning all. Entries in for the flower show, not sure I will get away with Cosmos as a perennial...

Bloody MIL woke me up last night, phoning for random trivial reason at stupid unsocial hour. Find myself hoping she is just being her usual selfish self and not going doolally. Then DH stomping about looking for indigestion pills, then himself snoring, then DD1 coughing, then DH snoring.... aarggghhh

Loads of washing to do et.c et.c

triker thats terrible you got ticked at Alton Towers, I thought it was only really long grass you could get bitten in.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • After my last terrible attempt, I'm in again now that my mad August is nearly over. I'm not at work until 1pm today (although working outside so hoping it warms up a bit, brr) so planning to see how far I can get ahead of myself. We had our housewarming on Sat and OH's Birthday yesterday so a bit left to catch up on too. Also got a list of jobs I'd like to do today...

    • Print and envelope stuff invoices for August's work
    • Print off receipts and add them to filing pile (to be tackled another day!)
    • At least one load of washing washed then on the line
    • Hoover through downstairs
    • Empty garden of chairs
    • Clean BBQ

    Tuesday~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces

Wipe fronts of appliances and units.. kickboards too!
    Level Two
Wipe small appliances and replace.. clean 1 to perfection..
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed

    Clean the tiles and sink
    Level Three
Sort out the fridge... what needs working into your meal plan before it tries running away?
Tidy the cupboard full of all those things you never use.. and get rid of the ones you really don't need

Wipe over oven and hob and fridge.
    Extras
    1. Scrub and demould doorseals! Don't forget the ones in the WM
    2. Empty and wash out bins!
  • boddy that is so terrible. I hope that you are alright and that you are able to offer plenty of support to your poor friend.

    Morning all

Just getting a cuppa and then the kids can pick something for today. I would like to get another room done but we'll see.

    Bobby how awful, big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
