I'm in this week; many thanks Flylady Central Command.:o

I'm grateful for the "day off" tomorrow; it'll give me chance to catch up with the weekend tasks that I've fallen behind with because I've not been too good today. We attended a 60th birthday "do" last night, and I always suffer "fallout" the day after having to socialise with loads of people I don't know, and I haven't been able to settle to anything properly today. On top of that, my poor old tum seems to be a tad upset, too, for some reason.:(

On the other hand, Ted the Border Terrier is here for his 4-day stay with us; he's a cheeky mutt, and a real character. We are to exercise him in the garden, as he doesn't get on with other dogs at all; and he's currently half on the sofa and half on Mr LW's lap!:D

JennyJewell I only just caught up with the last few pages of last week's Fred; if it's any encouragement, I packed up smoking 8 years ago; I did it cold turkey, and I set aside the money I would have spent on cigarettes, and eventually treated myself to a lovely pewter and crystal dragon with the proceeds. You can do it; you don't have to have your life run by the nasty little white tubes any more.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Evening,

I'm in again. Although I am off this week, and so is DH. We're planning a few days out, and a few days of catching up with jobs. Went on a lovely canal trip today, with DM (is that right?) who is staying for a few days. Finally stopped raining here just before we left the house to go on the narrow boat! Lucky!

Spoons, hugs and positive thoughts to all.

Off to empty the DW AGAIN! (I think we eat too much?)
    xx

  • cooee ...I'm back from sunny cumbria, not sure I've got both legs though, feel as though I left them halfway down a mountain! Thanks to FCC came home to a house that didn't look as if it had been burgled. Back to work Wednesday so this week will be quite a challenge to keep up the flying and school.

looking forward to the 6 loads of washing from holiday, and really liking Mondays task sheet, thanks pigpen.

    Count me in:j

It was OH's birthday yesterday, and he's back tomorrow. I'm planning on giving him a holiday as his birthday present (he needs one, badly) but haven't booked anything as we need to agree dates round work/kids etc. I just need to work out how to present it... any suggestions?

    *sniggers*

put it in the bottom of the laundry bin and see if he finds it...
or stick it in your undies and see which one he finds first :rotfl:
and if we're having a sweep I DON'T want the laundry basket option!

or cut right to the chase (assuming you are planning to accompany himon the jaunt...

wirtie him a 'You're on a promise poem...'

You're on a promise! (Oh! behave!)
When you have got a week to spare
Book it off, and I'll be there
We're off for sand and sea and fun
We'll bask beneath the balmy sun
And in the evening, when it's night
We'll have some fun - to your delight

(obviously he might not be a Dave lol)

anyhoo I'm in thanks to FCC *mwah**mwah*

Make some cupcakes that spell out 'holiday' in icing...**counts out fingers whilst sticking out tongue** umm 7 cupcakes with a letter on each.:D

I smashed up the old hen house and squared up front room, books are back in bookcase, bookcase back against wall. Ornaments are re positioned, paper burnt in fireplace, binbag filled with useless stuff, carpet hoovered, chairs rearranged....it looks loads better.
