I'm still here - experiencing a lot of 'life' at the moment!

Hope to be back and functioning next week - dread to think what I've missed!

    Morning all

I did one load of washing and I've hokey-cokeyed it. It's out at the moment.

Just put the bacon joint in for a roast dinner.

Not much else going on. I did watch Roger and Val Just Got In this morning on iPlayer because they've still got the previous episode on catch-up. How inconsiderate!

Hi all, well managed to declutter a huge amount of stuff on ebay including two sofa's so the house will be emptying later today.

Also tried to get some semblence of order in DD1's old room, its chaos in there, really need to get in there to decorate but I can't do it on my own and trying to get some motivation going with hubby is hard work.

Anyway, off to wrap and post ebay items, then list some more.

    :wave:Hi

Thanks for all the good wishes. We had a lovely time yesterday. Drive was fine, teens loved Muse and DS2 and I enjoyed our time together. The Trafford Centre was impressive, but the only shopping was done by DS2 who spent some of his saved up money on a lego truck. Then Toy Story 3 (the only suitable film showing after 4pm -:eek::eek: at the price of tickets for a 3-D film) and a late tea. We waited close to the cricket ground for DS1 and listenend to the last half hour of the concert. Sounded great - I'm sure you'll love it, froddy. We were back home around half past midnight and I spent some time with DH, whose mood had improved. DS2 got me up at half eight this morning to build his truck.

While DS2 and DH visited MIL, I caught up on here. They've just returned and it looks like we may have some car trouble - red battery light keeps coming on , so I'll have to phone the nice man up the road and hope he can help. I could really do without a major expense this month. We were going to get the guttering sorted.

Once that's done I shall see if DS1 has surfaced, get washed/dressed and make a start on my little list for today:

Bring washing in, fold and distribute
peg washing out and do one more load, peg out and bring in
    sort tea
sort clothes for tomorrow (me and DS2)
sort calendar/diary for next few weeks
make birthday sponge cake for colleague/friend
    empty and re-load DW
sort bag and write to-do list for work

I hope that's it, but may need to add. Best get started.
Hugs and spoons as appropriate, as I've skimmed through the last few pages.
  • Ha Ha! Machiavellian laugh. Have got to the bottom of Mt. Ironmore, save for some of DH's shirts. Roll on DD1 wearing school uniform again, she doesn't get changed every 5 min.

eta piggers does KH not have a washing machine?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

WM on and TD, i've being keeping up with the washing and really only need to do one more load today. :D

Mince didn't defrost so it's now being done in the oven, i'm starving too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
