Serena - Hiya! It's so nice to see all the usual suspects on here! What do you mean a few months of teasing....I'm counting on years!!! Of course, I never do anything wrong:cool: xx0

Mudbath - enjoy
Serena - I have five hours a week extra for the next few months which takes me up to school hours four days. Boys will not suffer but the house and garden will. I have promised myself not to buy anything till the 4/5 trays from my dad are planted. My 'park' bed outside our front wall was patchily planted with cerise azaelas when we moved in, but I padded it out with more azaleas and orange crocosmia last year. I want to expand the seasons cheaply hence project crocus, but failing that I have lots of young hellebores which want potting on and snowdrops I could spilt.
bed sheets dried and replaced. clean wahsing sorted and piled ready to go away. small black cat tutted at and removed 7 times. Apparently it is a game.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Oh Lamewolf I so wish I had read that before (about the Scottish Terrier) The dog I 'caught' wasn't one of those but I saw a lady with three of those today (when I was out with my 'friend';) and CONFIDENTLY proclaimed they were terriers (of some sort LOL). The doggie was more westie-like...
and I am glad I am not the only flylady with dark pets and very pale, elegant bedding...
I've had a LOVELY day including a trip to a herb garden and I did a little bit of scrumping, too:) and I have been showing off my LIMITED knowledge of latin names for things - confidently identfying malus trees with teeny fruits as some kind of apple...turned out to be chinese crab apples *preen*
And my friend, who has had a carp time of it of late, has got engaged, having had a bended knee proposal (slightly green - married twice and never got asked like that...)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Tempted to prop it up myself tonight but not so far as no chilled white wine
Might stick a bottle in the freezer for half an hour
I did that this evening:D
Only one bottle of sparkling left from what we brought back from France
I need tulips.:D And very probably crocus. And daffodils.:D
I am going to be very restrained and only go for a few bulbs for forcing. PN have some replacements for failures on my account so I will need to do a small order to get those. A couple of amaryllis would be nice too. With two big bits of the border to replant plus a tree for the 'to be filled in sandpit' and a liner for the wildlife pond my budget will be stretched, hence why I still have a half empty border
I've ironed most of what was in the pile so DS1 and DH have tops for the first few days of next week.
DS1 very happy with his 5 wickets today. I need to go and check who is asleep upstairs.
Very relieved that our friends in NZ are all ok.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Declutter the contents (sure to be plenty of willing helpers on here:D) and then use them. They tend to have a screw cap.I'm fairly sure Mumto5's trip to Harrods is an annual event (how long have I been a member of this thread...)
LOL who's been keeping tabs on me! :rotfl:
