It is quiet isn't it? :) think lots of people are getting ready for Monday - that's my excuse anyway!!

Not much flying done here, WMx1 & that's about it. DH is home after the week away, & currently decluttering DD to bed, after which he's going to cook dinner :D:D I'm sitting on the sofa!!! Arm hurting a bit so I'm taking it easy. It'll be lovely to have DD back at school, but I am going to miss her ;) Am planning lots of flinging next week, as well as meeting up with sparkleworld on Wed :D

Have a good evening everyone, hugs & spoons here if you need them

Back from our fab holiday up North, but a horrid & long drive home. Having a surf & cuppa before unpacking..

    Have I missed anything vital?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.
  • Certainly has :D Is it the grand reopening tonight :D

Tempted to prop it up myself tonight but not so far as no chilled white wine

Might stick a bottle in the freezer for half an hour

can we please only order the mini bottles of wine when ordering at the flylady bar ....Mrs C needs the empty bottles.

    :hello:Hi ladies!!

I've decluttered most of my grey hair today:D. Very relaxing afternoon, as my hairdresser was running late as usual, giving me time to read two months' of Good Housekeeping, and Country Homes and Interiors, which I love but would never buy.

That made up for the early morning start as DS2 was round a friend's and had a 9.30 dentist appt. His arm is still achey and sore, but there doesn't seem to be too much damage. I have however vetoed rugby tomorrow!

I've done washing, and a bit of tidying....

    Love and hugs.

    ps Welcome home moam!

pps hex - are you ordering any bulbs this year? I'm tempted....

Well I would, but I am on boxed wine as it makes for a lot less recycling

Now that sounds lovely - did you get a real hot drink as well? I sometimes think the hairdressers is the only time i get hot coffee.

I want bulbs - project crocus remains on my list and I want some rockery tulips, but I am waiting to know everything is sorted DH emplyment wise before I spend anything else. We have had to buy a car, tax and insure it, etc and it has been..painful!

Dusty - hellooooo right back at you. Hope things are ok in the dusty household.

Lamewolf - :D I 'found' the bank card just as he picked up the phone to cancel it. :rotfl:He's really beating himself up for being such a prat. I feel I can milk this one for a while.....and I will!

I've decided I'm not human! Mmmmm something you probably already knew. After one hours sleep last night I'm still wide awake. I've had a hot drink and put lavender in the burner...I will sleep tonight. I will sleep tonight.

This afternoon I did about three million loads of washing (I NEVER exaggerate!) and also cleared a border in the garden. I made gammon and eggs for tea....do hope the smell of the egg didn't make DH feel too queasy:D.

Think I'll head to my pit with a book and the lavender oil. New sheets too - my idea of heaven! :rotfl:

I'll start on lists proper on Monday.

    Night xx

Yes, really nice coffee - they have some fabulous and no doubt expensive machine, and whenever they offer me a latte or a cappucino, I smile sweetly and say just a small cup of coffee with a splash of milk - they try not to wince.;) I've been going there for years, and the salon has been run for a while now by the son -I've known him since he was eleven.

I need tulips.:D And very probably crocus. And daffodils.:D

I'm going to save the extra money I get between now and Christmas (extra day and a half each week) towards replacing my car, which needs to be done next year, but I think I can probabaly sneak a few pounds for bulbs. Just don't know if I'd actually have time to plant them...

:hello:Hi mudbath! I missed you earlier. Nice to see you back. Months and months of teasing there I should think.;)
