    Hello to all

Had a fantastic time in Centre Parcs. I've mainly unpacked, so the weekend will see lots of washing being done.

WM just finished as DS1 needs his cricket whites for tomorrow and he'd worn them just before we went away. I'll put them on the AGA then heading off to bed.

I've only read the last couple of pages so hugs to anybody in need.

Serena - hope DS2 is ok - the start of a new season and all those injuries to look forward to ~sigh~

JJ - hope your arm is ok

Tomorrow I want to defrost the freezer and clean out the fridge and then do meal plans and food shop.

Some ebay sellers make me mad, I won an item for collection only, (happy with that) mailed the seller, and asked for his address and can I collect Sat at about 9.30am, and bring cash, he mails back and says Fri night or Sat morning is fine, but no address or phone number given!!!! how am I suppose to collect, I think I will become physic or something!!!, I have now to his 'details' off ebay, sketchy to say the least but there is a phone number, so I'm going to give him a call, but is 8.30am too early to be calling him??

Off to make the bed while I sort out what time to call him.

    Have a good day

Have you looked at Argos or Amazon? They do the bigger sizes. Is it a specific one that you want?

    Morning all

Been up since 7.50, but spent time on laptop and looking through some catalogues while drinking my tea. Must move now.
I finished baking last night but then realised that the chicken stock was still in the slow cooker. By the time I'd dealt with that it was too late to do anything else, but I now have 3 more portions of soup for DS1 and enough chicken for a plate pie (must get plate - tempted to buy Lakeland offer)

    Plan for this morning:
    breakfast
    Buy eggs and do lottery
    laundry
    bath DS2
HHC in each room (6 )
    lunch
plan route for drive to Manchester
pack stuff (mainly food/drink for way home)
    collect DS1's friend by 2pm

I'm getting quite excited thinking about our outing, but also a bit panicky about driving in a big city. I'll be fine, I'm sure. Back by 1am tomorrow (at the latest, I hope). The concert is due to finish at 10.30, but then the boys have got to meet up with me and we've got to get out of the city. We'll see.

Glad you had a good holiday Dusty and HollyH
MrsChaos I have driven into Manchester before and it isn't too bad, and I hate city driving.

I got a lot shifted yesterday and the house is looking a lot better. I have had very little time with the boys this summer so when I have been here I haven't spent it cleaning or gardening, and it really shows now. Really need to try and get on top of it, but I had best get dressed first.

    Morning all

First wash of the day on the line and second about to be loaded. DH is still in bed but as there is things to do I think it's time he got up, i'll make him a quick cuppa and that should do the trick.

Max - we went to Chatsworth for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Glad you had a good time

Rach - good luck with the scan, not long now so you must be so excited.

ETA morning Hex - my house so needs attention - next 2 weeks I'm getting it done once they are all back at school which will be very odd after DS1 here for months now with study leave.
