The lunch went quite well in the end. My friend asked what we were having and when I said salad I got the reaction I had been expecting. She said later how nice it was so she was either being polite or she enjoyed it, I hope it was the later. She didn't leave anything so I am hoping that is a good sign.

I have spent quite a bit of time practising the piano this afternoon. I started lessons yesterday, 21 years after I took up music. I was getting really annoyed with one bit so have walked away from it.

Not sure what to do now, downstairs is really tidy, upstairs isn't but I can't face it at the mo. Could do with ironing too but might wait till OH gets in, then he might help ;) I am enjoying doing nothing right at this minute though as I am very tired.

Level one done, plus a few bits of the rest and some dailies. Need to S&S the living room quickly but will wait until my boys are in bed. Kitchen is smelling lovely with ratatouille in the slow cooker and soup cooling ready to be blitzed when I find the stick blender. Need to get boys bathed and in bed and then there is something cold and alcoholic waiting for me in the fridge...

I think the weeble philosophy is a good one to go by - I certainly have the figure for it too....
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    Hi all

not v much flying done here apart from S&S'ing the kitchen; I've been making plum & pear chutney, & choc beetroot muffins - the house smells absolutely wonderful!!! Took me a v long time to chop everything.. Left hard/arm fairly useless!!

Once the chutney is bottled I'll get on with the list proper, honest!

    Hugs/spoons as appropriate :)

Well I survived the kiddies' party...one woman didn't bring her 3 1/2 year old, this is the second party she has been invited to and not come, having said she would.

Any thoughts? I can't not invite the girl as it isn't her fault.

I haven't started flying yet today. I have been hugely busy with loads of other things. I don't seem to have enough hours in the day. The cat is poorly again and one of the dogs has an upset tum....don't know which one as I was out of the room when it happened! Both times!!

The men are all working outside and making the most of the good weather doing outside jobs.

I am thinking level one will be an achievement for me today.

Hi tired, good to see you back :)

LW Ted looks gorgeous. I am a bit jealous of you with a little manageable pup. My two are charging round and round the room as I sit here.

Must go and fly in the kitchen and maybe start dinner.

    Evening all,

Well I think the staying up til 3 has finally caught up with me. Had a nice afternoon sitting in the park with ex-colleagues and their children and every time the baby yawned, I did too! lol

Since I've been home, I've put the shopping away, and folded and brought in the washing.

Moon has called the mortgage people, and is no further forward than yesterday, as he's gone over to paperless statements (ie he banks online now) and didn't have stuff printed out to answer the questions they were asking him. SO, he has to call them again tomorrow now he's sorted that bit out. He told me he feels a bit better about it all today, and I told him that I didn't - I'm someone who likes to be in control and be organised, and now the control has been taken away from me, I'm feeling stressed. Fingers crossed that the phonecall tomorrow will go well, and we'll be able to stay here.

Off to see if Moon will make the dinner, as all of my energy has completely left me now.

Hugs to all who need or want them, and welcome home to all of the returners. For all of you who are going back to school tomorrow, I hope your new term goes well.

    sexymouse xx
